I normally write short reviews, so the short of it is: good service, terrible product.
The long if it is: I had a simple app order. Warm danish, cafe latte with whole milk. If I had to say something nice, the staff were friendly considering I was doing an order at 6 in the morning and they were prompt with my order. The danish was good, too.
But the cafe latte was possibly the worst espresso/coffee I have ever had. It managed to be thin, watery and taste only of burnt and bitter. They could have dumped cold whole milk into my drink and it would have probably been better - what I got, instead, was a mystery liquid that was both tasteless and watery that was filled with so much bubbles that it looked like I had been served a cup of dish liquid.
This is the kind of drink that you would imagine some old mechanic from a jokey 80s movie would think was a 'strong cuppa'. You know, the kind of drip coffee that just sits on a hot plate for 8 hours and burns off and you try to rescue it with some water to thin it out into something that resembles coffee. My co-workers (who were also unimpressed with their beverages; one had a peppermint cocoa that had no peppermint, and one had a hot chocolate with whipped cream that tasted of water and lacked any whipped cream) were equally puzzled on how what I was served resembled in any way 'latte'.
Maybe it was a bad day. Maybe their morning shift was off this day. But either way, it was so undrinkable that I dumped it down the sink. They can consider the $4 for this disaster a parting gift, as they're never getting my...
Read moreChelsie Ann Went above and beyond for me today. she is such a sweet person to have at your drive-through window. Her voice sounds like she belongs as an air flight attendant. She was calm so very polite and very accommodating. I requested extra cold foam, and she had put it in a Venti cup for me, which is the nicest gesture I’ve ever had done for me at a Starbucks! Usually, I will get less coffee and more cold foam, but this time it was exactly what I had hoped for with the right amount of coffee and the right amount of cold foam! she made my day after an appointment and I could never have asked for better customer service at your establishment. I would drive out of my way to go to the Starbucks any day compared to the ones that are around me locally thank you to this wonderful woman who deserves recognition and success. ❤️ I think the best thing about it too was that she wasn’t just this way with me, but she was that sweet and nice with the person before me and after me too kindness...
Read moreI did a mobile order for drive through and when I got to the drive through they told me they were out of the drink I had already ordered and paid for, asked me if I would like another different drink so I did and the drink was less expensive than the one I had already paid for so I asked the woman if the money would just go back onto my card on the app and at first she told me my drink I ordered prior to the new one she gave me was less expensive so I was undercharged for the new drink and clearly I can see it on the app how much it is. So I showed her then she tells me that the drinks are the same exact price again not true but she proceeded to argue with me over it. So no refund was given and the customer service was not acceptable at all. I have never wrote a review until today and I love starbucks, get it every day after class but I will never go to that...
