My Cuz and I were headed back to the Hamptons from the city and were looking for a great breakfast/coffee/bagel place with vegan options! We stumbled across 17A Café with a Google search and it did not disappoint! I got the vegan bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on a sesame bagel, and I can honestly say that it was the best I’ve had! The coffee was also a hit! My cousin got the toasted almond iced coffee and I got a cold brew. Both were delectable! Aside from this being a hidden gem, the owner Scotty was incredibly friendly and hospitable to speak with in the cute little ambience of a quaint little neighborhood café. He made many recommendations and it was a pleasure discussing a lot of the plant-based options he carries. Went there for a coffee and muffin but was pleasantly welcomed by Scotty Bagel the owner. The place is tiny but packed with goodies. I asked Scotty to make me a nice breakfast and he proceeded to making a sampler of 4 of his smoked salmons on a scooped out everything bagel cut in four quarters with scallion cream cheese, tomatoes, onions and squeezed lime. OUT OF THIS WORLD. To my delight he also has flavored creamers for my coffee. And he made everything with care and LOVE. Great experience.
