It shows potential. They cook the fish perfectly, but tend to under season. I started with grilled sardines, which were good, but could have had a touch more garlic. My wife has a salad that everyone had to share - it was quite large. I had the whole Bronzino which was presented beautifully and, delightfully, fully butterflyed and deboned in the kitchen and reassembled. 10 out of 10 there, but then it was lacking something. More lemon, more herbs, more salt - anything. The wine list was short but with decent value. I would like to see a few more non-Californian whites. The bread brought before the meal was superb.
The service was trying hard, but fell a little short of what they seem to be shooting for. It was not slow, but the bussers where uncoordinated with the wait staff. Somehow the gigantic glassware made a table for 5 holding only 4 people seem crowded. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened and try again in a few months.
FWIW. f.i.s.h just opened in February 2016. There was previously another seafood restaurant in the same location, and somehow the reviews are crossed. Anything from before 2016 refers to...
Read moreThis was one of the worst and strangest dining experiences I have had. The food took forever to arrive, a table that had been there before we arrived got their food 40 minutes after we sat down. 40 minutes after we ordered I was told that they no longer had branzino and I had to change my order. The restaurant had a waiter who was doing everything in the restaurant and a chef who was nowhere to be seen. Our food came out after over an hour and was clearly overcooked, cold and poorly made. By the time we finished our food we found out that the waiter was cooking our meals rather then the chef. The waiter did the best he could with the circumstances of the situation but it was overall a horrible experience. The restaurant was not even crowded, only 3 other tables of customers but it still only had 1 employee doing anything. This issue needs to be seriously addressed. A waiter having to cook our food (seafood to be specific) after touching menus, drinks and plates is a serious...

For appetizer I ordered calamari, the amount they served was like an entree for me. Well made! Crab cakes also huge comes with salad. The grilled Bronzino with capers was awesome. My son wish to have lobster mac and cheese but there was not on the menu. They made it for him anyway.. The chicken really tender and delicious. My lobster (Thank you for broiling) I finished from the top to the bottom. I don’t wanna forget to mention the grill veggie on the side carrot, brussels sprout and the zucchini with steak fries a great combo.
