This review is in regards to a take out order. We’ve dined at gino’s before and have been to a party there and have never had any issues. The extra star is for the food but the one star is for their customer service. Today I ate a Cobb salad that cost 24.70. It was good but under no circumstance should a pizzeria salad cost 24.70. When placing the order , I specified no egg or bacon, added Gorgonzola cheese and asked if the grilled chicken could be blackened, to which the answer was yes for an extra charge. Considering that the salad already had grilled chicken on it (in the original 13.95 price) and it costs 5.75 to add grilled chicken to a salad that doesn’t have chicken on it and 7.50 to add blackened chicken to a salad without chicken .. I thought the upcharge for blackened chicken should have been 1.75 . Add 5 dollars for the Gorgonzola.. you have a salad that costs 20.70( which is still pretty ridiculous but sounds more acceptable). Upon noticing that I was charged and extra 7.50 for blackened chicken on a salad that costs 13.95 with grilled chicken already on it (!!!!) I called to point out their mistake and was certain I would be getting my 4 dollars back ( I get 4 dollars is not a significant amount but it really is the principle) , I was told by whoever picked up the phone that this is how their computer calculates it and there’s nothing they can do about it. Even after explaining the whole situation, I was still reassured that yes that was the correct price and that yes it cost an additional 7.50 to add chicken to a salad that already has chicken on it because that is just how the computer does it and there’s no way to make an adjustment. She was sorry. Hmmmm I’m...
Read moreThis place use to be great. I use to order from here once a week and lately the pizza has been soggy or not fully cooked which is why we stopped ordering for delivery. I went into the pizzeria to make an order at the counter. In the pizzeria they have plastic flaps with slits in them separating the employees from the customers at the counter. There was a young man who was obviously new and training and when he put the pizza in the box open underneath the plastic flaps and he then proceeded to close the box underneath the plastic flaps INSIDE the box which then got all over the pizza and handed it to us to leave. I walked out with my boyfriend and we took one look at each other and I immediately knew he was just as uncomfortable eating pizza that had possibly touched this plastic flaps in the middle of the height of the second wave of a pandemic. When I went in to complain they tried to deny what happened and we opened the box it was evident that the pizza slices cheese was smeared all over the box and it was obvious it happened from the plastic flaps. There was a man watching him put the pizza in the box and saw what he did with the flaps and he never corrected him and that’s what really leaves a sour taste in my mouth. If they’re doing this in front of customers, what are they doing when you’re not in the pizzeria watching them? Unfortunately this pizzeria lost a customer who eats there...
Read moreThe time management skills of this establishment are appalling. On numerous occasions I ordered online well in advance, to have my pizza delivered at a specific time. More often than not, they have been consistently between 20 and 40 minutes late for that scheduled delivery. Today I had a delivery set for 3:10pm, not a busy time of day at all. And not a large order, just a salad and one pizza. After the food arrived 20 minutes late, I spoke to a manager who refused to acknowledge his mistake and continued to blame his delivery drivers saying "they must be roaming the streets when they leave the restaurant". If this happened once, that might be an argument, but this has happened over and over with different drivers. I have been a consistent and loyal customer for over 2 years, but I will not be ordering from this establishment anymore due to the complete lack of ownership of the managements...
