The food is salty and too much MSG. I'm not sure why the lunch special costs so much nowadays - also they charge extra (75 cents) if you want to substitute soup/egg roll with soda. This does not make sense to me b/c soup/egg roll should cost more. If you must drink soda, keep soup or egg roll and order soda separately. Also portion seems to be smaller than what I would normally get - so you get hit twice, higher price and less food.

They round up the bill, not sure if this is something standard for Chinese-American restaurants in the Nassau county.

ordered delivery for lunch, i ordered a hot and spicy shredded beef, only three pieces of meat .. hmmmm , so i called them and the lady on the phone laughed at me and said you know this dish is mainly vegetable right. I told her i know what i ordered and that it was not my first time ordering this dish from an chinese take out spot. And this dish is sweet and savory and not hot and spicy. I also asked for hot oil, which i guess it means sweet hot sauce. I have soo many fool words to say about this establishment. I believe you need to not sell something you can't cook. good job you just lost my companies business....

Under New Management, Jan. 2021. Former owners of the Douglaston Dragon Express takeout now runs this Chinese Take Out spot in Garden City Park. They deliver, where the previous management did not...cash and credit cards accepted here, they offer local delivery and the menu has been completely re-vamped offering familiar take out favorites and some more traditional Cantonese style dishes as well.
