The place was nicely set up and the woman!s bathroom was clean, equipped with hand soap, lotion, toilet paper and paper towel. It was NOT stinking of urine either. I can't speak for the men's bathroom. If you plan to have an event here, other folks will also be using the restaurant at the same time. There is a Haitian musician who is playing music and singing in creole. He does not speak English. The food was very tasty and we'll cooked. They had fried plantain, red rice and beans, calaloo, steam vegetables, stew chicken, and stew beef, fried fish, salad, fresh fruit, carrot cake, cheese cake and cookies, Mac and cheese and pumpkin soup. There is an open bar and they also serve soda and water. I believe the lunch buffet was $21.00 per person. The waiters were very polite, but they need to learn to speak English. They only take credit cards and cash at this place. I had the fried fish, some rice and beans a little bit of calaloo, since it looked different than the one I'm used to having. I also had some salad, a little bit of Mac and cheese and pumpkin soup. The soup was delicious! It tasted like West Indian pumpkin soup. The place was a little drafty, once the place got empty. I was at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure how it is...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Mirelle's Restaurant, and the experience was awesome!
The food tasted amazing. I'm happy we made our choice to come here vs. Other establishments to host our banquet because i wanted the food to be seasoned with love... & use of salt/pepper/ adobo ;-).
Another thing that caught my attention as the best location to have an event was the ample parking space – a rarity that truly adds convenience to the experience.
Also, the waiter staff was not only attentive but also seemed genuinely passionate about ensuring all my guest had a memorable time.
Moreover, the owner, who I can only describe as a sweetheart, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated from the start. I planned my whole party sight u seen solely basef on other people's/family's recommendations. So getting the owners personal touches & suggestion added a warmth to the atmosphere that made the evening truly special.
Mirelle's Restaurant is undoubtedly a hidden gem that combines exceptional cuisine, thoughtful service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return to host another...
Read moreTerribly atrocious wait staff. Our first server never returned to our table after he brought our appetizer. We ended up flagging down another server to help us, but she was even worse than the first one. Both employees had so much attitude, no follow up, no table clean-up, putting in the incorrect order, no small plates, no napkins. We tried to order food to go and the server was so rude that we left the food behind after paying for it out of fear....The bartender was pleasant, but the bar (in the room on the parking lot side) had no sink to hold ice or a credit card machine. As a result, the bartender hat to go back and forth constantly. Also, there was no menu provided because there were only three dishes (goat, turkey, and chicken wings) available. Lastly, there needs to be better soundproofing within the venue because we heard the event on the other side very clearly...
