Pho Island — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

My husband and I were walking around and happened upon this place. The staff immediately welcomed us and created a warm atmosphere. We have ordered House Special Sandwich, Beef Pho, Chicken Pho, Summer Rolls, House Special Salad, etc.. All the foods were delicious! The broth is rich, flavorful, and awesome, the sandwich is spectacular, big and filled us up, especially the salad is amazing, which is the best salad I have had in Long Island area. The waitress was very friendly and helpful by telling us how to choose their best dishes, how to roll up our food with the fresh mint and lettuce. You can’t tell how attractive from the exterior because the folks inside are too busy make amazing food! We were so glad we stopped by this place and found a Pho gem in New Hyde Park neighborhood. The review: I went there with my wife and I for lunch. The store is no frills which is fine by us. We order spring rolls and the beef pho. The spring rolls were solid as expected. Their peanut sauce is a different take than we're used to. The beef pho. We liked the broth and found it flavorful. We've tried a few other vietnamese restaurants in the area (bia and another one in manhasset). I think we both prefer this pho. For one, they really pack in the stuff in the pho. Alot of beef plus the proper add-ins like tripe and meatballs in their beef pho. That was a winner for me. Other places didn't really have all the extra meats. I ordered here last night through Uber eats. I ordered x2 bun bo hue, they only sent 1. We tried calling back but they were closed at 8:30pm. Whomp. Isn’t that still dinner time? We paid the premium to get the food through Uber eats. The portions were so little, my 5 year old daughter finished all her noodles, she never finishes her noodles from other Vietnamese pho restaurants.
