The worst service I've had at a Buffalo Wild Wings ever!!! Our waitress, Tera took out order which included me using about 2100 of my points for 10 traditional wings and I told her I had a birthday reward for 6 more wings. I ordered the 16 wing flavors and was only delivered 10 wings. The gentleman who brough the wings said he would look in back for them. Tera then came over and I told her I only got the 10 and she said she would check also, and I asked her for blue cheese and celery which she never asked me if I wanted and she said she would bring it also. 10 minutes later and asking the bar tender for the blue cheese the wings were then COLD!!! Tera then came back and said she did not get my birthday order in like she thought. Then the manager came over and apologized and asked if they could make the wings now that I didn't get. I told him my order of the wings included them to be cooked for 25 minutes and I wasn't about to wait again. Not much of a consolation. Tera then brought the bill and and I then asked for the manager again. I told the manager that I was charged for the 10 wings I got and that bill bill comped me for the 10 wings! told him I used my reward points for the purchase! He only wanted to make me more wings to go!!! So, I lost 2100 points for the wings I got and then was comped for the cost of them. Can't use the free 6 birthday wings either. I believe this would call for a visit from Gordon Ramsey! The wings I did get, although being cold were good. Gordon where are you when we need you??? Oh, they never offered my wife's order for a to go container either. Get it right the first time!
I was asked to submit to BWW web site the information above, which I did. I was given back the points I used for the 10 wings. Thanks for almost nothing. You did the minimum possible for such a poor experience AND I lost the 6 free wings that were for my birthday!!! If I go to BWW again it will be somewhere other than Oneonta....
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted by the experience I had here last night. Upon arrival I was greeted by a sweet older woman that was the hostess. She was about to seat my boyfriend and I when her manager Andy approached her being beyond disrespectful. He was upset that she hadnât written down who the server was for a large table that was coming in. He continued to make a scene in front of us and onlooking customers by raising his voice to the point our jaws dropped and she was on the brink of tears. After embarrassing her infront of everyone he stormed away and she seated us. I apologized to her for the way he treated her and we hesitantly ordered our meal. The service from our server was great and after the meal I asked the waitress if she would send Andy over. Upon Andy coming over I told him that I could not bring myself to leave without acknowledging his behavior. I told him that was an ugly way to treat someone, especially in front of customers. I approached the conversation in a respectful manner with the thought that he would acknowledge his wrongs and apologize BUT boy was I wrong. He proceeded to tell me âshe needed to hear itâ and he was being âbluntâ. He continued on after being rude to me after storming away about ten feet to raise his voice at me in front of the entire restaurant and tell me that itâs not him who needs to take a look in the mirror, itâs me. He continued to escalate the situation to the point that everyone around us was watching a situation that was never needed to rise to this extent. I was informed by other staff members that this is a ânormalâ way he treats those around him. This behavior is disgusting. It is mind blowing that with this behavior he is an assistant manager considering this is a...
Read moreMy experience at Buffalo Wild Wings was somewhat disappointing. I came with high expectations for a great meal but left feeling underwhelmed.
To start with the food - my party and I ordered a variety of items from the menu - wings, burgers, and fries. The wings, which I expected to be the highlight of the meal given the restaurant's name, were smaller than I anticipated. When it comes to wings, size does matter, and these just didn't deliver on the size or value front.
On the burger side, I'd say they were simply average. Nothing special that would make me crave to come back for more. The fries, though, were standard fare and as satisfactory as any you'd get elsewhere.
The service at the establishment was another issue that detracted from the overall dining experience. Our drinks took a considerable time to be refilled, which is a basic service expectation in any restaurant. I felt like our table wasn't given the necessary attention and quick service that is crucial in creating a good dining experience.
In the end, my visit to Buffalo Wild Wings was more of a missed shot than a slam dunk. I am hopeful that this was a one-off day for them, but it's hard to ignore the overall disappointment from this visit. My advice would be to take some time and focus on improving the quality of the food and the responsiveness of the service. A great dining experience is a combination of both, and this is where Buffalo Wild Wings fell short during my visit.
Would I recommend them at this point? Not enthusiastically, I'm afraid. They have some work to do to get back in the game, in my opinion. I'd say proceed with caution if you're...
