Stopped for a sandwich, there was one subway employee very clearly stressed out. There was a Mirabito employee slowly helping this poor employee and also very noticeably complaining about the lack of staff and mentioned "I will put up a 15 minute break sign if I need to". That's fine, a lot of places don't have the staff, I don't mind waiting, the issue was what happened next. The mirabito employee called over, I think the other Mirabito employees name was Shari, to come and help the subway staff since I line has formed at this point. This person just came from outside, not sure if they were on break or doing something else outside.
Shari came to help, they did NOT wash their hands, they didn't put their hair in a hat or a hair net, and they did not put on an apron. They did put on gloves, but as this person started to assemble my sandwich their, very clearly already wet shirt, became draped on my sandwich. I had to ask to stop making the sandwich, to discard it and leave.
I feel bad, because this person was trying to help, but they are not a trained subway employee and if this store can't not operate without having trained employees working there, they need to shut down before someone gets sick...

I ordered a 12 inch, but the person behind the counter said there wasn’t enough meatballs for a 12 inch. I said okay, I understand these things happen. She had said there was enough for a 6 inch, but upon watching her make it I was sad to see she put 3 little meatballs on there, then an entire spoon full of straight sauce as if this would conceal this fact. She then stuck it in the oven and left. She did not tell her coworker this and the oven started going off while they were checking someone else out. After much beeping, I was as given a sad and partially empty sub. Additionally, they left it out on the counter long enough for the flies that have stormed the counter to find it. I’m generally very patient about these situations but I found this incredibly frustrating. The hygiene, customer service, and lack of communication all contributed to a horrible...
Read moreThe older gentleman there is slower than molasses at making sandwiches and never gets them right. The first time we went the sandwiches were just baked up in paper and oozing all over it took 25 minutes during the point he started making it sandwiches until they were done. The second time that took 45 minutes. Today we ordered through the app so he would get them right, but 30 minutes after ordering when I went in to get them he hadn't even started, then argued with me about what was printed out as oppressed to what we ordered. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch melt and he was trying to make it without roasting it saying it wasn't specified, not did it have bacon on it and when I mentioned that I asked for the bacon to be crispy he said he didn't have time to read it from the app and special notes don't print out. Besides all that we still didn't get the chips we were supposed to get and the whole ordeal took almost an hour. Order from any other subway, but don't go...
