It’s usually okay, but the last time I went there I had an issue with a drive thru order. I placed a mobile order as I do a couple times weekly. I went to the speaker, employee told me to pull up so I did and assumed my drink was ready. I got to the window and they insisted I come inside so they could “remake my drink” because they “didn’t have it”. (I thought making me come inside was crazy bc I placed it drive thru for a reason and that reason being I’m LAZY but I digress). I double check my phone before going in to make sure I’m at the right dunkin and everything’s looking right. So I go inside and go up to the counter to have them remake it like the drive thru said to do 30 seconds ago and the counter person asks to see my phone and see the time it was placed, location, etc. after showing her, she just stands there and we have this weird eye contact for like 5 seconds and she makes no move to remake my drink & doesn’t say anything else so I’m like… okay. I look at the mobile pick up counter just to see if my drink was there, which I wrongfully assumed the employees had done when I was in the drive thru. My drink was sitting there with the sticker that said drive thru. The entire thing could’ve been avoided if drive thru had looked 2 feet away from them to see if my drink was accidentally placed on the counter, but they were more concerned with me trying to score a free iced...
Read moreI typically have a great experience at this location. The staff is friendly, and my orders are usually prepared perfectly. Unfortunately, today was an exception. My drink was made with sparkling water instead of green tea, so I politely asked if it could be remade. I think there was some confusion because I had asked about a drink made with sparkling water, which may have led to the mix-up. I recognize that I may have caused some of that confusion, but I don’t think it's appropriate for employees to close the window and speak negatively about a customer just for asking for their drink to be remade.
Additionally, my drink wasn’t properly remade. It was clear that they only dumped out part of the refresher and added green tea, as I could still taste the sparkling water. While this is my first negative experience at this location, I will continue to return because it’s convenient. That said, I would appreciate it if, when a customer requests a remake, it’s done properly and with care, rather than rushed or with any sense of resentment. And please wait until the customer has driven away before...
Read moreDunkin at this location has a silly mask policy. I came here a few day ago, walked in with my laptop and book and attempted to order a coffee. I was told they would only serve me if I put on a mask. I declined to wear a mask because I choose to be free. So here's what I did: I placed my laptop and book on the table in the dining area. I went out to my car. I drove around the building to the drive thru window. I ordered my coffee and paid for it WITHOUT wearing a mask. I then re-parked my car, walked back into dunkin with my coffee in hand and I sat at the table where I had left my book and laptop and enjoyed my coffee. So silly. The distance between us was about the same whether I ordered inside or at the drive thru. In the end it was a win for everybody. They got the sale. I got my coffee without wearing a face diaper. I don't fault the employee for this dumb rule. I'm sure she's just following her employer's instructions. However, Dunkin loses two stars for...
