Yolimart — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

Walked in at the opening of the restaurant. Some of the dishes weren’t not ready but Wendy was very kind and made us the dishes we wanted in a surprisingly prompt manner.

The restaurant is not big, more of a take out place but we made use of the three stools the looked out the window into the street.

The food was hit, flavorful, and delicious for the right price. I would’ve paid double what I paid for the amount of food I got. I got oxtails, white rice, and bean sauce with a side order if fried turkey. The plate came with a complimentary drink and I chose the passion fruit. My fiancé got the soursop. Tried on a whim as we wanted to pick up lunch after a ShopRite run. It's a small place with limited counter seating of 3 seats, but with a wonderfully cozy feeling. Wendy was exceptionally kind and let us, more importantly our children, taste several items prior to us ordering to ensure we were happy with whatever it is we ordered.

Everything is exceptionally seasoned and absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering a chicken platter, a beef platter, and a side of the pumpkin soup for takeout. Plenty of food for a family of four with some leftovers to take to work the next day. I recently purchased two bottles of Cremas from Yolimart over the holiday and I am thrilled with my purchase! The packaging was stunning and the bottles themselves were of high quality. The Cremas itself is absolutely delicious - it has a creamy, rich flavor that is perfect. (Coconut flavored)
