Don't get me wrong, I love my Dunkin. I go almost every morning and I get amazing service at the Dunkin I go to. I've been to this Dunkin' Donuts twice because it was closest to the Estey, Munroe and Fahey Funeral home which I was visiting. My first visit, the staff seemed to get annoyed because I took 5 seconds to look at the menu. The staff gave me attitude and I saw another staff member look at a customer with disgust. My order also took so long to get completed. I came back next week in need of coffee and a morning snack after the funeral. I ordered and the lady working the cash register put the wrong order in, and then our order took way longer than it should have. We took our order, and went in the car, then to have realized that the lady gave us a black coffee, even though we clearly didn't order a black coffee. We went in, asked for them to correctly do our order and they seemed ticked off. The staff here is terrible, the orders take too long, I would only tell you to go here if you had no other option. The Dunkin I go to has a very nice staff team, never give you attitude, are happy to correct the mistakes, and are very good at their jobs. I know a good Dunkin when I see one, this isn't...
Read moreMy husband and I were just in the new Owego, NY store for the second time since they opened. We went there specifically to get Kcups for the new coffee maker we received as a Christmas gift. We saw a tv advertisement several times and as recently as last night for a two box promotion. No expiration dates were on the tv ad. The person at the counter told me the sale was over. As we started to leave, we noticed a large sign advertising the sale for the kcups and the #3lb offer. The sign also did not have any expiration date on it. My husband then approached the owner and asked him if he would honor the sale since they were still advertising it in their store. He said definitely not and removed the sign right in front of us. Poor customer service experience for sure! On our visit to the store last week we received excellent customer service from the counter staff. I work in the healthcare field in a customer service role and would never want a customer to leave feeling like we felt today. Since the owner has that attitude though, I don't see any reason to visit that...
Read moreThis has been my experience a few times. I’ve walked in and the service of 3 staff women were disrespectful and unfriendly.
Some of the staff were very rude and unwelcoming. Even when the order is written down, the food is made incorrectly and being there multiple times, I’m aware no one is a new employee.
I brought in an emotional support dog and was yelled at by 3 female staff members through the process of ordering to receiving my food. As I walked in I was yelled at versus a reasonable kind approach. It would have been nice to have been offered a solution rather than a raised hostel voice without a drive thru option available. Even being offered to bring the food outside would have been reasonable. It was traumatic for me and there are other ways to treat customers who are patronizing the business.
I understand there are rules, but insinuating my dog was not considered a service/ support animal was inconsiderate...
