Fuddy Duddy's Confectionery — Restaurant in Town of Owego

I ordered coffee online a few days ago. 10 bags to be exact. Fuddy Duddys shipped my order with nearly half the items I ordered out of stock.... Previously, months ago I at least recieved an email informing me in advance that they were out of stock. Unfortunately, this time was NOT the case. It was just a complete shock and disappointment as I opened the box with just about half the order not present. Its a shame, I would've liked to know beforehand because these are gifts for family that's in town only for a short period of time and my family members are not from New York...

No worries, I thought to myself. At least I have a 15% off coupon for my next order that I recieved straight to my email. I figured let me try to get a chance to swing by for my last minute coffee bag replacements while using my new 15% off coupon. After grabbing my new coffee bags and extras, Mrs. Cruty informed me at the checkout counter that I cannot use the coupon in store, despite having a hundred dollars worth of coffee and Confectionery items sitting in front of her at the check-out counter... To add insult to injury, the email NEVER STATED FOR ONLINE PURCHASES ONLY, or NOT ACCEPTED IN STORE.

Nonetheless, I am still devastated and they dont even do military discount as my fiancé and I are both disabled veterans that already have a hard enough time going out and doing "normal things". This will be the last trip. I Wish Mr. And Mrs. Cruty could've made something right. (In the picture, Personal info has been removed but I left the order...

I don’t normally do these, but the events that occurred are too damning not to. If it was possible to give a zero star review, I would, unfortunately I will settle for a 1 star review.

The reason for such a low review is simple, my girlfriend bought some items yesterday for valentines day, for several of her coworkers and herself. Immediately after eating those items, herself and the coworkers that consumed the product, either got violently sick, or dealt with nausea. We were able to deduce what the item was that got people sick.

When she called just a little bit ago to give them a heads up that the product they sold us got people sick, the lady that she was speaking to, denied what it was and dismissed it.

This disregard for public health and zero accountability, lost you several customers. You should be ashamed of...

Been going for a couple years. Milk chocolate is delicious but it's been mostly absent for over a year. Hit or miss ( mostly miss for me) to be in stock due to long time suppler problems. Everything very affordable and customer service second to none. Today was especially disappointing as shelves were bare of just about everything milk chocolate. I've never seen so many empty slots. Love the cookies. Fudge was good but seemed a bit stale on the edges? IDK. It still was delicious and don't let this stop anyone from buying. Lots of other items to enjoy thats not chocolate as well. Maybe just an off day overall for them. I will continue to visit hoping to find my favorite milk...
