This place is good but they are weird and do dumb things all the time. Ordered a turkey sandwich with mayo, they thought it would be a good idea to put the mayo on the side when no one asked for that (who does this? Who thought that was a good idea?), also notice in the picture the embarrassingly small pickle. Another time I ordered on uber eats and the driver didn’t deliver the right order so I ordered again, the restaurant thought it was a mistake so they didn’t fulfill the order (understandable), so I called and went through a ridiculous automated system (relax guys you’re a deli not a Fortune 500 company you can have a normal phone.) I finally got on the phone with the person who claimed to be the owner, he took the order and said 15 minutes, it was delivered 2 hours later and I couldn’t get through when I called, I refused the order and the owner called me back and blamed the girl working at the counter as if I didn’t talk directly to him. Their food is good but it’s a dice roll of if they are gonna do something dumb with your order. Edit: the girl in my office ordered a bacon egg and cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup. They put the salt pepper and ketchup on the side. Seriously who is running this place?

I’m really disappointed with my experience. I ordered a ham sandwich and even repeated my order twice to the woman, yet I was given a chicken sandwich instead. On top of that, I later realized I was overcharged for the sandwich $24 for a sandwich is insane. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and didn’t notice until after I left. Since I was already far away due to work, I didn’t have time to go back and deal with it. Definitely not the experience I expected.

Very good and fresh bagel sandwiches but SEVERELY overpriced. When does a B.E.C on everything bagel and a bottle of Yoo-Hoo run you $12.00 cash and $12.50 by card??? Maybe just me but been living in NY for 50 yrs and do understand inflation however this is simply unheard of. Staff is very friendly and overall Beyond Bagels provide a neat and clean appearance though I can’t overlook the fact their pricing simply turn me off for returning.

On 12/19 I ordered a dozen bagels online to be delivered out of state from NY-fla. It cost 117.94. on 12/20 I rec'd a call from Marco at beyond bagels & he said my CC expiration date was wrong, gave him correct date, he told me they be delivered by Fri 12/22 as I pd for 2nd day air. As of 12/24 they still weren't delivered & that started an email conversation with the owner Robert, who although was apologetic he couldn't see that it was their fault because I was told they'd be there. 12/26, still no bagels & reluctantly the owner issued a refund, which was run on the 27, telling me that it could take a few days to process which I understood. 1/2/24 still no refund which I emailed the owner again & again was told it's probably delayed because the holiday, again I understood. 1/4/24 I called the owner & explained the explanation data issue when the order was placed & could it possibly be the same reason? He emphatically refused to check the card # & told me it's my bank. 1/5 I Called my bank & explained the whole situation, she looked at my account & saw nothing leading to a refund, at that point having dealt long enough with not only the rudeness of the owner but the employee marco, I put in a dispute for my refund which took them 1 day to process. I will never use beyond bagels again. & To quote the owner who said "I'm only refunded your money because I feel bad, not because it was our fault", I told him that Marco told me "I was mistaken for believing that 2nd day air means it gets there in 2 days"! I replied to Marco "that's exactly what 2nd day air means! With great bagel stores on virtually every other block on long island, I find it hard to believe this one...

Revised 7/29/18: Staffing has improved, lines move better. Bumped my review up to 4 stars. Leaving old review to keep them honest! 🤪 ############################### Ever increasing prices and frustratingly long waits for the customer to be served due to staffing makes this place a frustrating bagel store to visit.

My view is that a bagel store should be a quick in and out, and their morning profits made on volume. Lines are ok as long as they move. Everyone has to be at work, long waits cause missed sales by this store. This place is also a deli and have a lot of choices for post breakfast. However, I have personally witnessed a line of two wait for more than 10 Min to be served.

The cause is the priority of the staff is given to the text in the order crowd. This must be due to the Jericho clientele. However even these folks wait. Also, the staff gets stymied because when someone orders an egg sandwich, or something of this ilk, THEy have to make the sandwich and not a kitchen worker. This also contributes to the delay.

Until they can understand / fix staff issues, I’d recommend leaving after a line of 3 people, unless you have time to burn.

Also prices on the increase a lot this year and it’s frustrating because you have to plan for an increase at any time.

This place could be so much more. Food is great! It’s just the the customer experience that holds this place back. And, unfortunately, this should...
