Two stars for the food. Zero for the service. I went in to Market Bistro on Tuesday June 19th. The bartender (I cant tell you his name because he didnt introduce himself) was extremely dismissive and came across rude. Firstly he was chewing gum like a cow the entire time we were sitting at the bar. When we thanked him, he did not acknowledge it at all. This happened more than once and we were completely ignored. We overheard him saying to another customer "do you go home and hang yourself after work like I do"- which I dont think is a very good impression to be setting. He didnt even look me in the eye when I told him my order and when we asked him for a water refill (or anything for that matter) he 90% of the time said nothing and came across contemptuous. You would think the number one priority would be customer service. Not only that but he proceeded to wipe his shoe and his nose only to continue serving customers without washing his hands.
The food was great I have no complaints there but I really think management needs to step up their game. (We saw a waitress on her cellphone standing in...
Read moreI've been coming to Market Bistro since the day they opened, and I can honestly say it's been consistently fantastic every single time. I still remember the owner from his days working at another restaurant, and it's been great to watch him bring the same passion, warmth, and quality to his own place. From the moment you walk in, you're always greeted with a smile, whether it's the host, hostess, or the friendly bar staff. The service here is top-notch. The entire team is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cares that you have a great experience.
As for the food? Always excellent. Consistency is key, and Market Bistro delivers every time. Whether you're trying something new or sticking to a favorite, the dishes are flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented.
It’s more than just a place to eat—it’s the kind of spot where you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. Great atmosphere, great people, and great food. Always a good time at...
Read moreI was running errands in the area and I thought I would give this well reviewed place a try.
I was not at all impressed with the (savory) food, especially at the price point. The soba noodle salad was 85% noodles with hardly a vegetable to be seen. It was overdressed and unremarkable.
Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering the grilled eggplant parmesan. This dish does not live up to its promise and is a major disappointment for eggplant parmigiana lovers. The grilled eggplant and sauce wasn't very flavorsome, and the combination of cheeses was all wrong. I ate a bit of cheese off the top and left the rest, which is unheard of for me. At $28, this dish was vastly overpriced and did not even come with a choice of side unlike the other entrées. Skip!
For dessert I ordered the strawberry and blueberry crisp with peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream. The crisp was divine and the only saving grace of this...
