Save yourself unnecessary pain and anguish and DO NOT SUPPORT THE MILLERIDGE BAKERY!!! Reviews that mention the quality has gone down are completely accurate! Iâve been a patron of The Milleridge Bakery for over 30 years when it was called, âThe Bread & Jam Shop.â At that time, the manager & employees were friendly & caring, prices were reasonable & all baked goods were fresh & delicious!!!. As soon as âThe Bread & Jam Shopâ was changed to âThe Milleridge Bakery,â everything went downhill!! The baked goods are stale, outrageously overpriced & the employees are incompetent (get phone orders wrong), Celeste, the manager, is impossible to reach by phone, doesnât return calls & recanted on her promise to credit my charge card after I had to cancel a big cookie order a day before pick up due to COVID. Instead, she told me that there would be no credit, but mailed me a gift card. I reordered my tray of cookies with less quantity than my original order plus 2 cinnamon breads to purchase with the gift card. An employee called me just prior to pick up time to ask me to come to The MB an hour later since my order wasnât ready. When my husband brought home my order for my grandsonâs 1st birthday celebration in June, the tray of cookies were a HUGE DISGRACE (smudged, stale & replaced with other cookies that I didnât order & the cinnamon breads were also stale)!!! The foil wrapping didnât even have a bakery logo on it. I immediately called The MB to complain & left a message for Celeste to call me back, yet she never returned my call! Only look at the negative reviews!!! They are the most truthful!!! The MB has the worst customer service & deserves...

The cash register paper jammed and she couldnât really give me prices on certain items! The receipt didnât itemize the tuff we purchased which was $100.45. Had to bag all our stuff. There was no help there. Very slow. People walking out. Then I decided to get two loafs of bread and asked to slice it, she said the machine was broken. Have been coming there many years. Things got very small and not as good as it use to be. The workerââ didnât seem to care about...
Read moreSo let me get this straightâŚ. A couple of years back the cinnamon bread decreased in size by about 50% but the price stayed the same at $4 which was bad enough.
Now, they just raised the price to $7 per loaf!! And even smallerâŚ. Per the staff: âafter all the renovations, they changed all the pricesââŚ. So a never ending tax to customers to pay for your renovationsâŚ. Keep your bread and keep the inflated prices all over your village. After 10 years, I am using my local bakery for all my business....
