Stopped for late lunch/early dinner on Friday of the Ryder Cup with my daughter and father. Bar was busy with patrons watching the match. Sat outside with my dog at one of the 3 outside tables. Seating was nice, especially with the dog because they have a barrier between the tables and the rest of the sidewalk. Had to go inside to order beer and food at first. Server did bring out the food and drinks after. I had the Prime Steakhouse Burger and the other 2 had the Juciy Lucy burger. All were order medium rare. The server came out and explained the 2 Juciy Lucy burgers needed to be cooked more than med rare to melt the cheese inside. All 3 burger came out on the well side of medium well...but they were great!(that's why I gave 5 stars for the food) Very juciy with awesome flavor. The server and some of the staff were very friendly and had to come out and say high to the dog. Bill came to $106 for the 3 burgers, 4 drafts (60 minute IPAs) and 2 High Noons. Will definitely go again next time I am in town.

This place is a gem. Easily one of the best beer selections I’ve seen in Long Island. The food from IKE’s Burgers which is a food truck located in the back lot was insane. To start We order some chicken empanadas. I’m a sucker for corned beef so when I saw a Reuben I had to order it and it was exactly what I was looking for. We also order a chic-Phil-a with buttermilk fried chicken pickles onions and homemade chic filet sauce. Next level!!!! You could see everything is made fresh to order and homemade. The whole old school tavern vibe and the delicious food makes this a hidden gem. If I lived closer I’d be there multiple times a week

Attended a 30th birthday party last weekend. Had a private room with our own bartender. Alex. He was amazing. Drinks were great and never kept us waiting. Super nice guy. The cocktail food we had was delicious. Genn, the manager, was the best. From the planning to the execution, she was on top of everything. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely be back for future parties.

I came to this bar the first time on July 26 , 2025 and will never come again in my life , I am from New Jersey and this is my second time on Long Island , I spent most of my time that night at KCs which was another bar down the street and it was a really fun time . I danced and drank the night away had a really great time my night was perfect until I went to dark horse tavern , one of the security guards a shorter black man a little husky decided to scream and verbally assault me and my gf , we was sitting in the front of house and just came to the back to drink some water and sober up , we were there for about 2 minutes before this piece of trash of a human comes up , and tells us “what are you guys doing back here you don’t see me kicking people out ! I said I seen you talk to one guy about smoking weird and then you didn’t say Anything to anyone else and asked him why he was targeting me , he proceeded to belittle and talk down to me like a child and he’s a grown man and I am too , he disrespected me and my gf and embarrassed us and is extremely unprofessional and should be fired , he said I’m not gonna tell you again and proceeded to raise his voice and get in my face when I been sitting down the whole time just sobering up drinking some water and we never said a word to anyone he then as I was walking away showed off and told the crowd” I’m gonna lay this guy out, I’m not playing” it was my first time there so I didn’t know the back patio closed before the front no one told us anything. So for him to come so rude and disrespectful has no communication skills and is nasty plz don’t attend this bar , and please if the supervisor or owner sees this please get rid of this guy . Check back the cameras on the back patio around 3-330 am and view...

First time here, only because we had a gift card. We walked in & there was 1 waitress/bartender & legit not a soul in there. It was about 2:40-45. She nicely tells us they’re still serving breakfast but if we really want lunch she can try to “convince” the chef to start the lunch menu. Unless they were expecting an influx of patrons at 2:59 who want pancakes, I think it was safe to start serving lunch…we at least look at the brunch menu (on Instagram because we’re informed the menus didn’t print in time for the holiday weekend) & it’s pure breakfast food so she hands us the late night snack menu. We order mozzarella sticks & wait for 3:00 to order lunch. I got the California wrap but asked for the dressing on the side. My husband got the Santa Fe sandwich. Mine comes with dressing on it, of course, so I give it a try anyway but it’s spicy as hell, I couldn’t even eat it. My husband wasn’t enjoying his sandwich too much but we swapped anyway and it was a mess. The fries were so salty & soggy they were inedible. I almost wanted to send it back but I was afraid of the chef to be honest since for a measly 15 minutes we couldn’t order lunch. We took the half a wrap home but the to-go Tupperware we got didn’t even fit. I didn’t bother the waitress because through no fault of hers she was getting busy with people at the bar. When we left there was 1 other couple at another table. We knew we weren’t going to get a 5 star meal but still, a little pride in your food wouldn’t hurt. Won’t...

Not sure what happened to this place .... This was the Go to Spot back in the days. I was there a few weeks ago and decided to meet a friend for drinks. I sipped my Drink and realized it wasn't Patron. I then asked the Girl at the bar if I could please change this I wanted a Patron Margarita. She said I would have to be charged Twice . One for the new drink and then the drink I didn't drink ... She ended up taking the drink back but making the same drink as if I don't know my Liquors lol this is what I do. She charged me for a Patron Margarita but just ended up giving me the same drink. Me nor my friend drank it . We just had a conversation and paid our tab when it was time to leave. Also she lied to me about being the manager. The security guard was nice and alert. Also the wings were pretty good. I've been coming to this place since I was 21 ... I'm 39 and my taste has changed but it would have been nice to walk down memory lane with a decent drink. I would suggest just getting a beer or the basic cran or vodka and coke. Or Jameson and Ginger ale you can't mess those ups. They are still open late which is cool and the music was still a good time. Just the Bar service I received lacked. If she only knew how good of a tipper I am when the drink is good and how politeness goes a long way as I would have blessed her with a tip of...
