Burgerology Farmingdale — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I've been one or two of the other restaurants by the same name, and they were very good. When we entered, it looked to be really slow, hardly anyone in there, so we sat at the bar.The service was great they provided us menus took our drink orders and took our food orders in a timely fashion. The tap beer selection is somewhat limited, but they cover all the bases with at least one or two in the various styles. The burgers I've had at the other versions of this restaurant were great, but I wanted to try something different, and that's where my mistake was. Going to a restaurant called burgerology and ordering a French dip is something like going to a seafood restaurant and ordering a steak. It was ok but not something I would order again. It tasted alright and was as described in the menu, but there were issues. There wasn't a lot of meat on the sandwich, and what was there was definitely tough. My. Buddy had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. He said it tasted good, but it wasn't as hot as he expected. It definitely looked a lot better than mine. The fries were plentiful and okay taste wise, but they were more limp than they should have been. I can honestly say I've had some really good meals at the other establishments in this chain. I would definitely come back here. But I would choose more wisely and order just about anything off the burger menu. The Saratoga and baconology and their onion rings come to mind. I'm sure my satisfaction...

I was part of a party of 5 this evening. We were sat immediately as we had a reservation. App came out and we only were provided 3 plates. (For 5 people) We asked the bus boy for additional plates and never received them. This resulted in two of my party having to use napkins for plates for food.

Then 3 burgers came out and two meals (tacos and a quinoa bowl) came out nearly 20 mins later The food that did come out, was cold and incorrect . We told our waitress and she didn’t bring new food or help the situation. . In the interim , we asked both the waitress , emcee of Bingo and finally spoke to a manager who brought out our meal who apologized claiming they “had to cook the quinoa “ (pretty lame excuse if you ask me ) The manager Bryan , stated he would also check on us and never did. We would have ordered desserts but the entire experience and lack of solution resulting in our decision to skip dessert and leave . Nothing was comped on our bill and nothing was offered to us other than one apology and essentially placing blame on ordering quinoa.

The service tonight was pretty terrible , shamefully slow , atmosphere was incredibly loud, disingenuous apologies etc. It was a fun atmosphere after a fun day out with family post the Christmas holiday on my last night home.

We will absolutely never be back and will certainly be sure to tell other patrons to spare themselves the...

This used to be my review for this place a few years ago, but please keep reading: "We LOVE this place! the food is always fantastic, we go 4 people at a time and each and every one of us enjoys our meal".

I wrote that a few years back...well...we just went there again in November 2024 and what an awful experience that was! We went on a Monday night, the place was empty. we were given menus, ordered drinks and asked for an extra minute to choose our food. The waitress didn't approach us at all, she was just standing chatting at the bar. Finally we asked her if we can order. So after 25 minutes we put our order in, still didn't get our drinks. 40 minutes in we got our drinks- reminding you, that besides 2 other tables, the place is empty. It took 30 more minutes until the food came out. The fries were stale and old and cold as if they've been sitting out for a while. We sent them back and the new fries were good, but when she brought those over she asked if we wanted refills and we said no, except she took one of the not finished alcohol drinks away. the food was ok overall, not great. We finished and again waited for the waitress who was busy chatting with the bartender. Finally called her over and asked for dessert menu. Dessert was not good at all, we had no spoons, no straws for the milkshake and the waitress was just...
