Came to this location for a “Mr. Grinch Christmas Pop-Up”. We paid $30 per person x 4 people so $120 just for seats to sit at the pop up which we thought included a show. None of this included food. When we got there the place was small. It was cute and decorated but nothing like I had expected from photos online. I was very disappointed by the fact that their was not a full menu. The food menu consisted of only 6 bar food items (pretzels, egg rolls, chips, hummus, mini pizza). We only ordered two alcoholic drinks which were $15 each and so strong you couldn’t even drink it. If you ask for a drink without alcohol you are still charged the same amount. In total we paid $150 for bar “food” not including the tip and this was on top of the $120 we paid just to sit there for the “show” and seats. The show was probably the worst part of it all. I was extremely disappointed when I realized my $120 went down the drain as soon as the grinch came out an hour after we were seated. The grinch sang one song for 2 minutes and then spent the last 30 minutes taking pictures with people and then sang one other song for 2 minutes right at the end. You can NOT charge people $30 per person x 4 = $120 for a show and seats and then play 2 songs for 5 minutes. That’s absolutely insane and then to charge us $150 for food on top of it??!?? We literally spent $300 last night for 4 people to eat bar finger foods and watch somebody dressed up in a grinch costume sing for legit 5 minutes. What a gimmick. I feel absolutely robbed. I will post photos because I essentially paid for the photos at this point because I guess this place is just for influencers to take pictures to show “look where I was during the holidays, while you weren’t” type vibe. So yes come here if you want to pay $300 for subpar bar food and pictures with the grinch and cute decor, but if you are expecting a show you will...
Read moreIt's actually a really nice little spot . went to celebrate my Birthday night . Really Enjoyed myself for the most part. When you first arrive there's a wall with a variety of door knobs in the entry way. If you're luck you'll find the correct Knob to enter . I love the chandeliers hanging from ceiling. The owner was very hospitable and greeted us as we arrived. I was a bit disappointed with the food choices . Was expecting a little bit more Flavors and variations. The quesadillas were a bit bland and there wasn't any sour cream available. The philly cheese steak dumplings were actually pretty good .I didn't like that when we asked for some utensils, we were only brought 1 set , we were a group of 4 in total (were we supposed to share 1 fork &knife )?? Also when I originally made reservations I called and asked about the pricing... I was under the impression that the menu would be priced for happy hour so long as we were there before 7pm ? We didnt recieve happy hour prices at all and we did arrive plenty before 7 pm ... Now I was given a complementary birthday drink , (wasn't that strong ) But this still made me happy . Its was very nice of the Hostess. We were also entertained by a small group of (amateur comedians) They were funny for the most part .Nice group of people. My party and I enjoyed a few laughs and overall Really enjoyed our night at the Alibi ! I would definitely go again. would like to assume the pandemic was the cause for the few discrepancies that I encountered. I would recommend this place and definitely would like to visit again. Thank You to the Alibi for making my Birthday night special. I had a nice time visiting and experiencing a new place I'd never...
Read moreWe had an amazing time at The Sugar Rush pop-up at Alibi with a group of 11, spanning from little ones to teens, young adults, and us “grown-up” adults. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations! The service was absolutely stellar — attentive, friendly, and on point. The drinks and food were both delicious and creative, and honestly, for a party of 11, the tab was surprisingly reasonable.
We ordered two of everything from the food menu (except for the gluten-free pizza), but we couldn’t resist ordering three of the regular pies because they were just that good! These weren’t your typical frozen, store-bought items; you could tell the food was fresh, high quality, and made with care.
The drinks were also a highlight! They were not only fun and visually appealing but also incredibly tasty. My personal favorite was the “Fish out of Water” – absolutely delightful! The kids had Shirley Temples, while the youngest was all about the orange creamsicle, which was a big hit with her!
We’ve been to several pop-ups here before, and they always deliver, but this one stood out because it was truly kid- and adult-friendly. The atmosphere, food, service, and drinks made it enjoyable for everyone in the group. So many cool photo ops too! Huge thanks to the Alibi staff for making it such a memorable experience. We’re already looking forward to what’s next!
10/10, highly recommend! This is one pop-up you don’t...
