Gregorio's Pizzeria & Trattoria — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

OKAY. WOW. I cannot express how much of a hidden gem this place is. I HAVE NEVER had a poor experience at Gregorios. Their food is absolutely AMAZING. I have never had such delicious food. My family orders from here always. I've tried all different types of pizza, wraps, hero's and more. Everything I have had so far has been beyond delicious. That staff is always super sweet and never give you attitude and Greg ( I believe he's the owner) is A GODSEND. There's this "secret" menu item that he makes on request or when he has the product. It may sound weird... but it is life changing lol. It's called the steak & mashed potato pizza pie. It's a speciality pie and like above it has delicious steak, mashed potato, cheese and onion on a Sicilian style pie. Out of everything I have had here (and I've had a lot) this is by far my favorite and my families favorite thing to eat. Holy cow. Overall all of the menu items are so flavorful and cooked just right and I guarantee you will enjoy your meal no matter what it is. Also Greg is so fantastic and so kind. I’m born and raised Long Island. I’ve eaten pizza from Elmont to Montauk and everywhere in between. I had my favorite spots, my go to slice(Buffalo chicken)…until today…. Something told me to stop into Gregorio’s Pizzeria in Massapequa. I think I’ve only ever been there twice. I had every intention of getting a Buffalo chicken slice until I saw this Sicilian looking pepperoni slice behind the glass. Plans immediately changed, “I’ll take whatever that is,” I called out, pointing to the delicious looking slice I just noticed. I took it into my car and took the first bite. My taste buds were electrified! “Holy Moly,” I thought, “this is the absolute best slice of pizza I ever had in my life!” By the time I was done I was a mile or two from Gregorio’s. I turned my car around, walked into the pizzeria and screamed across the restaurant, “What did I just eat??” They said it was a “Detroit Style Pepperoni with Hot Honey.” If you are reading this and you are looking for an amazing slice of pizza, go to Gregorio’s in Massapequa and try this slice. I first tried Gregorios through a catering order I had placed for my company and every single person raved about the food. I wound up changing caterers to Gregorios because I was that impressed! Hands down the best desicion I have ever made. I spoke to Greg directly and he helped me make sure I had enough food regardless of ordering though him or cooking on our own. We ordered the Chicken parm, Penne ala vodka, Eggplant rollatini, Chicken Francese, Grilled Vegetables, Chicken Fingers(HOMEMADE!!), Ravioli ala vodka, Sausage & Peppers, Mozzarella sticks, House salad and the Caesar salad. Everything was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We also ordered 6 pizza pies last week and I am actually in the process of ordering more catering for another company meeting this week.
