By far the worst food I have ever had in my entire life. For $35 we got one order of fish and chips (2 big hunks of soggy canola oil dough with a measly tiny little scrap of frozen mushy fish hidden inside) (“chips” aka raw frozen bowling alley fries with no seasoning at all except canola oil, not even salt) flavorless oil soaked garbage. How can you mess up fish and chips? Simple, don’t put any fish in the giant dough clusters, make sure they’re filled with sopping oil, and make sure the “chips” are flavorless raw frozen fries. Absolutely disgusting and violently overpriced. You could spend $2 at the grocery store frozen section store brand and have a better experience than this. Rancid and inedible. Whoever prepared this hates people and is completely done with their job. Zero care. To serve this to a customer for $35 is a complete nightmare. They should’ve served it along with a middle finger to my face as well. Edit reply: those are my plates from Costco, you didn’t give me any plates, just sopping soaking wet greasy containers. I forgot to mention we also got the chicken appetizer, that’s why my order came to well over $35 for greasy garbage. forgot to mention it because we didn’t eat it, it was also too soggy. The fries are FROZEN fries not fresh. And the $21 dollar 2 hunks of soggy dough with no fish and the frozen fries were awful. We did in fact go to Jeanine’s American Bistro, you know darn well that picture of your $21 fried grease dough is yours and yours alone. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They will serve you dog food and turn around and say you must never have even dined there! Insanity.

One of the best dining experiences on the North Shore of Long Island we've had the pleasure of visiting. Jeanine's American Bistro is a beautiful new restaurant and vision from Chef Jeanine Dimenna. Everything I've tried for lunch & dinner has been delicious. Especially like the wood fired pizza in the front of the house next to the bar, when looking for a few drinks and something casual. I expect to be back often for business meetings and family dinners.

Easily one of our favorite restaurants! Jeanine and her staff treat you like family, and the dishes are all amazing! Truly 5 star taste, quality, and experience at phenomenally reasonable prices.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeanine’s American Bistro. I went here this afternoon Saturday, March 26, 2025, with my mother and a friend. It was my first time here and what a Pleasurable, Enjoyable ,Hospitable, Experience. Cher our sever was Very Accommodating ,Polite Courteous and Patient . I asked her what she would recommend on the menu and she made Splendid Suggestions. However, Cher went above and beyond by introducing me to the owner and Chef Jeanine. It is very rare that the owner and chef comes out to meet and greet customers. I was honored. Jeanine took the Time, Effort and Kindness to recommend her Superb specialties on the menu. I ordered the Roasted Beet Salad which was very Fresh and Delicious . The second thing I ordered that Jeanine and Cher suggested was the Key West Coconut Shrimp. The Shrimp was Jumbo and Succulent. However the star of the dish was the Flavorful Mouth Watering Addictive Malibu Rum Mango Salsa. It was Excellent and paired Beautifully with the Shrimp. I informed Jeanine and Cher they should bottle that sauce and sell it. The Roasted Brussel Sprouts was the Best I ever Had. The texture of the Brussel Sprouts was perfect. Tasty, and Delectable. The Chicken Principessa was cooked to perfection with the mashed potatoes artichokes and peas. I don’t know how Jeanine got the Chicken Cutlets so tender. Jeanine and Cher were so hospitable that they gave us the sample of desserts on the House. The Chocolate Flourless Cake, Carrot Cake and Cheesecake were Marvelous. I would definitely come back here again. All of Jeanine’s Dishes are made with Passion and Love and come Straight From Her...

1st time. My wife and I always prefer the bar. 7pm on a Sunday, bar was empty. 11 tables empty in the restaurant. The Great? The pizza. The kid making the oven pizza was amazing, the pizza was amazing, and I absolutely tipped the pizza kid accordingly. Everything else? Mens-a-mens. The lighting in the bar area? FAR too bright. Blinding. No music or background noise in the bar area at all, the silence (totally empty bar) was oddly deafening. Is it so difficult to pipe some background music into the bar? Completely silent and weird. We witnessed 3 awkward, negative interactions between staff (arguing about tasks, responsibilities, etc, loudly) right out in the open. Very very very uncomfortable. Not sure who the man was at the podium, i was told he is the manager. He did really little to deal with any of these things. Having to watch the fights between staff was very awkward. While we were there, another couple sat at the bar but got up and left because the order was all wrong. Honestly, it was our 1st time and we gave it a shot, but we won’t be back. We will probably order take out pizzas, but we will not return to dine in. The pizza was perfect. The...
