I wouldn't believe this happened..like a tv sketch. I found a FLY in my wine after I almost finished drinking.. yes a FLY!.. i discreetly left the table and told the waiter,so no one else at the table could hear it or freak out. The waiter told me not once but 3 times he didn't see it.(and he said he was named like one of the president's for honesty(don't have to Say which first name) he brought one water glass to the side where i was trying to keep the conversation private and said he see.. "nothing in it.". I said being the WINE glass..I had to show him the fly. To make matters worse he called the manager and he tried to explain some how like I imagined this... and as if I brought the fly in my pocket... or there are flies that came in the door .. when i just happen to walk in.... and just happen to land in my glass out of all the people..how insulting explaining how the place is clean.. and the wine area is clean...I have a freaken BUG in my drink and who knows if anyone else at my table had one also.. and you are telling me about how clean the rest of the place is.... really.. just apologize and offer what ever you feel is appropriate for someone that had to go through this experience.. So needless to say I didn't give the full tip.. especially after this.. (and the when the manager again came to the table and explained IN FRONT OF MY TABLE that the bug I had in my drink..is going to be given to me for free...(is that a favor.. did you think I was going to pay for that drink) now EVERYONE KNOWS we had a bug.. I'm sure that made the food go down even better.... as they had a shock look on their face.. But the waiter was SURE TO SHOW ME and my table that he was NOT accepting my lower tip despite my bug encounter.. he gave me back the check and my 1/2 tip and said that had nothing to do with the services.. (my fist instinct was too give nothing at all) I'm not making this up.. my wife upped the tip .. but she don't know if she drank or ate something that she didn't ordered..or she would have gagged and said let's leave.. Now on a good note.. I'm sure this may have been a nice place on other days.. the 4 pieces of shrimp was one of the tastiest I've had. The "honest" lincoln waiter was really nice in the beginning.. but if this is how to treat a customer, a veteran.. then I can see why the place was empty.. would I return.... that's a toss up..PROBABLYNOT... I really like to feel I was important enough for a simple apology and offer a sign off gratitude that I patronized your place...
Update.. just got a call while typing this.. and the consensus from the group was.. we...

The Steak Night Easter Special Supreme: Manager's Deliverance
It was a joyous Sunday evening, planned for a casual takeout dinner, until my roomate Kadeem and I drove past a strip mall steakhouse: "Palmers Steak and Seafood."
"What do you think about steak night?!" I exclaimed to my dear friend. We decided to enjoy a Sunday Easter treat and venture to an untried, yet many-a-time considered restaurant.
We called ahead to make a reservation, and we were unsettled when a confused Maitre D answered the phone. She was unsure about accommodating us, but after a few minutes we were secured a table.
We ordered the pear salad with a raspberry yogurt vingarette and the marinated skirt steak with mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables to share. Both were absolutely scintillating, paired perfectly with their respective complimentary sides.
That, however, was nothing compared to the Warm, Scrumptious TOUCH OF THE MANAGERS HAND ON MY ARM as he asked me how my steak was.
The gentle care and considerate placement - softly and sweetly caressing my shoulder - really emphasized that I was being taken care of as if he was my long lost papi.
Boy did I feel seen and loved. I drank it all in with the dark notes of the 2018 J. Lohrs Merlot. What a great dinner; what a great man!
It doesn't end there -- I ordered a red velvet molten lava cake for desert, and Kadeem ordered the blueberry crisp.
Although Kadeem's desert wasn't accompanied with the typical ice cream scoop that we all expected, the kind homely manager visited our table AGAIN to check in on us.
With a tame, tender pat on the arm, he left us to finish our meal on a pleasant end note. Jovial and satisfied, we left the restaurant as excited future patrons.
While the ice cream scoop would normally drop sweet, sweet Palmers down to a 4.5/5, their manager's outstanding service and attention warrants a 5/5 in my book.
Thank you, sweet sweet Palmers, for a...
Read moreA very nice restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere as well as top notch steaks. I don't usually order steak in a restaurant as I am often disappointed. Not the case here. Cooked to your liking and very high quality beef. I recommend going there in the middle of the week as the weekends are much more crowded. The bar is great as well. Good drinks and lots going on.
February 9, '23 Thursday; I met a friend here for dinner again. Once again, from the time I walked in I felt a bit like "Norm in Cheers". The staff here are amazing. Everyone makes sure that you have everything that you need to make it an enjoyable experience. Lets face it, everything is now more expensive and why would you spend your hard earned money for a so-so dinner? Palmers always impresses me with consistently great quality food and wonderful service. If you are looking for a quiet place to dine or a more lively bar scene, look no further! Highly recommended!
January 14th 2025 I met my buddy here once again for a quiet, dinner. Palmer's never fails to impress me! Our server "Honest Abe" as he introduced himself was wonderful. He brought our steaks exactly as they were ordered and checked up as the meal progressed. There are very few restaurants that I have been to that are consistently great. Palmer's is among the best. I enjoy the weekday atmosphere as it is less crowded and quieter for conversation at the table. I still highly recommend this establishment as they will not disappoint you. Cheers to the chef(s), the staff, as well as...
