PYO Chai — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I recently visited PYO Chai in Hicksville and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Located at 217 Bethpage Road, this establishment offers a unique fusion of South Asian flavors and traditional Taiwanese bubble tea.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who made me feel welcome immediately. The service was exceptionally prompt; my drink was prepared and served within a minute of ordering.

I opted for the Mango Kulfi Milk Tea with boba, and it was absolutely delicious. The drink featured the rich and fruity taste of Alphonso mango, enhanced with saffron, cardamom, and nuts, and was topped with a scoop of Mango Kulfi and basil seeds. The boba pearls were perfectly cooked, adding a delightful texture to the creamy beverage. This unique blend of flavors provided a refreshing twist on traditional bubble tea.

The ambiance of PYO Chai is both cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a flavorful drink. Their menu boasts a variety of innovative options, including Malai Kulfi Milk Tea, Falooda Kulfi Milk Tea, and Paan Kulfi Milk Tea, all of which I am eager to try on future visits.

In addition to their delightful beverages, PYO Chai offers a selection of savory items, such as their PYO Momos, available in chicken or vegetable varieties. Priced at $11.00, these dumplings are a perfect accompaniment to their drink offerings.

Overall, my experience at PYO Chai was exceptional. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I have been to their original location in New Hyde park, so I had to go and support their new location in Hicksville. The owner is so kind and welcoming is often there taking and filling orders. The entire staff is so nice and provide great customer service. NOW getting to the drinks… Their boba are ALWAYS fresh and perfectly chewy. I’ve tried the roohafza milk tea which is very good. I usually go for the green teas just because I’ve been watching my diet and they’re nice if you want something on the lighter side. However, my absolute favorite is the pistachio flavored milk tea with brown sugar boba. It is so good!! it tastes exactly like pista kulfi. I have yet to try their momos but definitely getting them next time I go. I love that they’re open pretty late and stay open even later in the summer. The Hicksville location also has board games you can play while you have your drinks and momos which is so cute. Great place to grab a treat with friends/family

If you want boba with a desi twist, Pyo Chai is the place to be! Their menu has a decent variety of South Asian and non-South Asian flavors. The kulfi drinks are decadent and delicious; my favorite was the mango flavor! The milk teas are also delicious and offer a ton of options. The fruit teas are one of my favorites, and you can mix and match flavors, so you never get bored! Their momos are a new addition to their menu, which was one of their best decisions! They offer veggie and chicken, which are both equally mouthwateringly delicious! The sauces they come with make the experience even better. Also, I love that this location offers a lot more seating. You can catch up with friends and family or get some work done. Lastly, their customer service is excellent; they’re attentive and patient! The staff will answer any questions about their menu to better your experience. I would highly recommend any person in the area to...
