When in New York, bagels are a must—and The Bagel Doctor definitely delivered. This was the second spot we tried on our trip, and it was easy to see why it was so busy.
The bagels were fantastic: soft, with just the right amount of chewiness, and full of flavor. We tried them toasted with chive onion cream cheese and salmon—major win. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
At the time of this visit, a baker’s dozen came out to around $21. That might feel a little steep at first, but honestly, for the quality, it makes sense. You’re paying for a real New York bagel experience, and it shows.
Friendly service sealed the deal. This spot isn’t just hype—it’s worth it.

All I was mainly tasting was the everything bagel. Would pass by at times in the morning since it was on my way to work but don't think I'll be coming back. It's a no for me 👎
One of the best bagel shops/Delis I've been to. The chicken salad taste fresh and flavorful- one of the best I've had. Bagels are soft and well baked on the inside. Then gave me an attitude when she realized she made a mistake. Honestly never coming back here. Drink options were limited (granted I am an energy drink person- and they clearly aren’t a deli, just a bagel spot). Bread was a little stale so nothing to rave about and then when I questioned her overcharge she gave me an attitude saying that they charged more for the turkey and then even though I asked for a receipt, she rolled her eyes and walked away. I walked out. I’m done. First AND LAST Time ever walking...
