My personal impression is one of admiration for retaining a repeat local client base. Schultzy's owner literally fishes and gets the seafood fresh for the restaurant. How cool is that. The interior gives you a feeling of a quaint initimate cafe. But, you turn to the bar and it's gives to me, the show, Cheers, vibe. Which, is how you know the locals frequent the place. Say hello and you'll find out. A restaurant that's good can have an unexpected off night. Where the meal goes left and disappoints. I'm happy to say, that has not been my experience or of those I have dined with. Even the locals tell you the food is excellent and after you've eaten. Or, while you're eating, it's not unusual for someone to say, excellent or good food, right? Then, if you agree the customer will start praising the owner etc. Yes, come to Schultzy's for lunch. Or, dinner. Two completely different menus. Dinner, I recommend the claims and linguini. Appetizer, calamari. Lunch, anything on the menu. My friend had the Poboy sandwich, new England claim chowder. I had the steak sandwich and chips. I'm honestly not into fries. But, their cut quite thin and taste delightful. My sandwich portion was above satisfactory. It was exceptional. I ate one half and took the other half home. I don't normally do doggy bags. But, I loved my sandwich. I had planned to give it to my brother. But, some how, it never made that destination. Instead, I saw it in my fridge and ate it for lunch the next day. It was just as delicious as I remembered. I'm ready to return next week for another round of something...

We came here on our small getaway with my husband on his birthday. It was a Saturday night, and of course, i didn't make reservations ahead of time, thinking that Long Island is not so busy as the rest of NYC. We got lucky and got seated as a walk-ins at 6 pm, with the time frame to leave by 8 pm. Which was more than enough time for us. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly, with a nice personality. We did not order the main course, but we got a couple of starters, one side, and 2 drinks. The lobster biscque is the BEST i ever had in my life. I wanted to order the second plate, but Im glad i did not. Grilled octopus was huge and super delicious. The rest of the food was also great. And it was a big portion considering that it was all starters. Drinks were ok. We ordered special cocktails from the menu, and they were not as impressive as food. They were very strong and not too flavorful. But maybe i just made the wrong choice of a cocktail. Also, almost in the end, we noticed that every table was getting bread with butter in the beginning, and we did not get any. And it looked really yammy. We mentioned it to our waitress, and she was so kind to wrap up some bread and butter with herbs for us. And it was so delicious just as we imagined it. So i just want to say a big thank you to her, I did not catch her name, but she will know. And big thank you to everyone who makes that place so wonderful and delicious. Will definitely come back again to have more of that...

Truly an experience that’s wonderful and service beyond. They all seem to enjoy their work serving the folks from entering you get greeted and thanked on ya way out thanked for coming in by, and invited back by owner and his crew then on ya way out the are among the best in service business. Happens at other locations but constantly at Schultzy’s every time. Amazing foods and beautifully prepared, food are art and flavors to savor. Go for a drink 🥃 on the sound but eat at Schultzy’s after sunset you won’t be disappointed. Food over the top extremely fresh not disguise by frying fresh fish Raw Bar second to none the best. Oyster’s 🦪 from local to north east cold water locations, clams stone 🦀 to local clams fresh. The patrons are extremely friendly & fun! You just might even find a new friend there. Wonderful food and experience service impeccable customer service. Highly recommend don’t miss this venue in Ba’ville a diamond on the Gold Coast bar none!!!! Great specials as well. The dinning area is just the right size to allow the staff to be attentive. There was plenty of available parking for a short walk on spacious sidewalks. The staff members were upbeat and helpful for an out of towner. The quality was that of a high end restaurant with a lower key feel. The food was priced reasonably with generous portions for fresh seafood. The small town feel made us feel right at home with the owner/operator Jimmy and his family like staff. We visited on a Saturday when we got in and enjoyed it so much we went back on Monday evening. We had a father daughter wait staff for lunch on Saturday and were super impressed with how engaged and attentive the younger members were. Please don’t take our word for it, try it for yourself!

We arrived about 20 minutes before opening, and instead of turning us away, they welcomed us in and let us enjoy a drink while we waited. Ryan, the young bartender, impressed me immediately — he carried himself with the professionalism, kindness, and courtesy of someone far beyond his years. The food? Outstanding. Every bite was nothing short of amazing. During my stay in the area for a few days with my family, this place was hands-down the highlight of our trip. Brian another bartender was nothing but attentive . Thank you !! They even gave me a hat and shirt If you’re in town and want a great dining experience, this is the spot to be. And for the record — I DO NOT recommend Crescent Beach Club for anything.
