Stellina Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

This was our second time at Stellina Cafe, and unfortunately, the service was disappointing both times. Tonight, our waitress seemed disinterested, didn’t smile, and barely acknowledged us as she dropped off our food and shuffled away. They initially brought out the wrong dish, and when our correct order finally arrived, the food was not hot—some of it was actually cold. The wait was also rather long, which made it worse, especially since the restaurant wasn’t even busy tonight. If this is how they operate the day before Oyster Fest, a lot of people are going to be disappointed. The staff clearly need better training to handle service and create a more pleasant experience. Came here for lunch. Walked in 12:30pm and was able to find a table for 4. Ordered with the cashier/wait staff and she gave us a number. We sat down at a table and she delivered all our food and drinks. The cafe/bakery/restaurant was airy, clean and bright. Natural light came in through the front. I only tried the Capresse sandwich, the baguette was lightly toasted/grilled with just the right amount of mozzarella and tomato. Perfect for light lunch. Paired with a beet and orange juice. It felt very healthy. My friend's Mozza & Pesto Sandwich and Caesar Salad with Chicken were both delicious. We went on ordering 4 pieces of petite cakes. My favorite has to be the Tiramisu and Cappucino creme cake. Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes...

Well , where to start? We got some cookies, tres leche cake , cheesecake and jelly croissant to go . Cookies were so dry , not enough butter for sure . Mini Cannoli someone forgot to put cream through the whole thing. It had more than an inch of no cream …. I have tried so many tres leches in my life and this one was really bad . Just whipped cream without flavor , merengue on top was off . I heard it is a viral thing ? What ??? Unbelievable. Cheesecake was normal . Croissant was suppose to be Nutella ,instead It had jelly from a jar . Please make your own jam, It is basic when you have a bakery . Not good .
