Nima's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Palmyra

My wife and I are in town for the day and decided on pizza for lunch. We passed this place earlier in the day on Main St. and we decided to look them up online to see their ratings. The ratings are UNBELIEVABLY high for the experience we had.

We decided on getting their large pizza with 10 wings for $21 after tax. The cashier was very polite and tentative, though she seemed somewhat overwhelmed and new to the job (didn't know if they gave military discounts). After giving our order, I asked her how long we should expect to wait. We were told no more than 20 minutes...

35 or more minutes later, after asking "how much longer?" twice and on the verge of cancelling the order completely, we FINALLY get the food!!

This food was disappointing!! The pepperoni is cheap and small, the cheese is rubbery, the wings were very oily..

I could have ordered from a chain pizza restaurant and got more food, better quality, and served in half the time than this place!

There's a reason they haven't won an award since 2012 (3rd place if i remember...

My wife and I just moved to Palmyra....son his wife a d our grand kids come over....we think let's order pizza....we chose nimas because years ago we got pizza from nimas in Lyons. Called and asked if there was any specials with a sheet pizza and wings...the girl on the phone says yes we have a cheese sheet pizza with 2 dozen wings $35.00....great I will take that and she says it will be delivered in 45 minutes....an 1 1/2 later the delivery guy pulls in...hands my grand daughter the pizza and wings and she gives him a $7.00 tip...open up the pizza box and the pizza is totally cold...very little sauce or pepperoni. Dough was dry and no flavor and had a grainy substance like corn meal all over it...the wings were also cold...the kicker is she gave me the price of $35.00 and after looking at receipt she put the price as "45.00 plus the $7.00 tip....we won't be ordering there again m.the food was horrible and price wasnt what I was quoted on phone....and to not the driver almost drove off with...

Spent $80 on dinner tonight for 4 nimas plates, mild buffalo wings, boneless hot buffalo wings. 2 plates were done wrong we asked for mac salad for all plates and 2 did not get them. 1 of the plates was not fresh, the food was cold, the whole plate tasted like it was left out for awhile and then put together after. The mild buffalo wings were not mild, they tasted like they were dipped in oil and sugar. The hot buffalo boneless wings were not fully cooked, one of the pieces was actually cold. All of the patties from 4 of the nimas plates were actually old looked like Mcdonald’s patties. also, this is not the first time they have messed up an order. my family is not the type to complain about food but spending $80 on food and constantly tipping $20-$30 to the driver just for them to constantly mess up our food. This is not a good restaurant at all and the workers are lazy & highly rude. Your best bet is to order Marks or something different other than this place....
