To sum it up: this place has the worst service I've ever experienced, while the food was decent. I would NOT go here. Our waitress took 20 minutes just to get us drinks. I also made sure we ordered while getting drinks, since we had plenty of time to decide what we wanted and I knew if I waited it'd be another 20 minutes before she came back. We were left with empty glasses until our food arrived probably 30 or so minutes later. We had to specifically ask for silverware, napkins, and condiments (hello? We're eating...), and then when our waitress did refill our drinks, she gave us two waters when we asked for a Coke and a water. She also switched the glasses, so my friend got my glass and I got his. She also put our orders in incorrectly; I asked for dressing on the side. My friend got the WRONG kind of dressing on the side, and the dressing was on my meal. Whoops. Again, we sat with empty glasses until she came to bring us the check. No refills. No checking in on us. Unfriendly. To make this even worse, there is no parking at this place. We parked behind the building, and when we were leaving, we were blocked in. We asked one of the guys in the kitchen if someone could move their car, and he literally just shrugged at us and proceeded to stand outside smoking. Then a waitress rudely informed us that this was employee parking and there is usually a sign. There was no sign, and other people eating there were parked before us, so I'm sure they had to move their cars again to let the other customers out. Unbelievably terrible service. I can get a meal that's just as good for the same price in a much...

My friend (who's a regular here) got too drunk and got sick and left before paying. Being that she comes here every tuesday, the owner knew she was good for the $8. It is also her responsibility to make sure shet gets the payment after handing us the drinks, not an hour later. She told me my friend stiffed her and it was my responsibility to pay it because we came in together. After going back and forth over $8 (that I ended up paying for the sake of my friend, NOT the bar), she had me call her and ask her for her card over the phone.. Being that she left sick, she didn't have it at the time. It was the worst bar experience I've ever had. The owner was completely rude and cared more about the $8 (that she was going to get either way) than about customer service. Not to mention the food was just decent and the wings were skimpy. That was my first, and LAST time there. I came in a group of 5 and none of us will be returning so I hope the $8 was worth it (it might be because the place is clearly going out of business). Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere halfway decent. Bar Rescue wouldn't even be able to save...

I spoke with someone 45 minutes ago to add dessert to my order. I was very specific about my order.I requested Apple pie PLAIN,NO TOPPINGS EXCEPT WHIPPED CREAM..I GOT CARAMEL SAUCE ON THE PIE WHICH I HATE..I ALSO ORDERED PLAIN CHEESE CAKE WITH WHIPPED CREAM WHICH WAS ALSO topped with CARAMEL SAUCE!! I ORDERED SHRIMP COCKTAIL WHICH WAS DELICIOUS.I ALSO ORDERED NACHOSUPREME .THE NACHOS ARE BURNED AND STALE AND ARE NOT EDIBLE!! THE ONLY THING GOOD ABOUT THIS ORDER WAS THE GRUB HUB DELIVERY PERSON!! WE SHARED THE SHRIMP COCKTAIL FOR OUR DINNER WHICH WE PAID GOOD MONEY FOR,SO WE DIDN'T HAVE TO COOK!! This bill came close to 48.00 . with the 5.00 tip we included for the delivery guy. Now we are out all that money and we will have to have scrambled eggs . I'm hoping as a good gesture Empire Bar will extend some kind of compensation to us...
