I am very disappointed with our near by Taco Bell today! (Fairport, NY 14450) The way I have been treated, as well as the overwhelmingly poor attitude of the young woman who has some leadership role within your establishment is concerning! She escalated the situation, and basic ruined the rest of my day. I am astonished by this, as to the point I am taking additional time to review this terrible situation!
I chose to treat my daughter and I to lunch, by making a special trip from our home down the road to our local Taco Bell... I was welcomed in the drive-thru with great customer service... Since I have a dairy allergy, chooing fast-food is very limiting. The associate was very kind and helped in taking my order. At the window, I was greeted well and received my order quickly. I drove home with the order... to find, half or my order was not included. Fortunately, the tacos for my daughter were included, so I set her up and called the store, to explain what I had found and see if they could put the missing items together, while I drove back to the restaurant... This also was handled well, the young man that answered took my information, apologized for the inconvenience and said that when I came through the drive through to give them my name and they will have the reset of the meal ready.
I have to say that, choosing to get fast-food in the first place and choosing our local Taco Bell, is not a regular occurrence, so now to have to run back down the road and go through this again just to receive the missing meal was frustrating, but the service on the phone was done well and I was giving the employees the grace that things get missed...
This is where the entire ordeal takes a major turn of absolute absurd customer support and leadership! When I pulled up to the drivethru, I was welcomed again by a friendly voice... When I gave my name and started to explain why I was back, I was interrupted by a rude young woman, who I assume is a member of management based on her direct way of taking over the interactions. She explained in no uncertain terms, that she remembered packing my meal in question and there was no way that anything was missing. I explained that I understood, but I had brought the bag with me and she could see for herself that I had not received my entire order. She said she couldn't look in my bag, since it was against they corporate COVID policy to open a meal bag... Then she said, "I am not sure what you want me to do!" I said, I would like the complete meal the I ordered and paid for... I was then bluntly told to pull up to the window. At this point I am dismayed by the way I have been treated. It gets worse when I get to the window. The rude young women confonts me and explains again that she personally packed the meal about ten minutes earlier. I offer her my receipt and again to have the bag from the order to see that it wasn’t complete. She jerks the receipt from my hand, crumbles it up and tosses it on the counter. Then hands me a bagged meal, and says "I never want to have you do this again!" as if I am at fault and am falsely requesting that they owed me the missing items of my order. I am in shock at this and how poorly I am being treated! I announced to her that she was providing terrible customer service and in response she said loudly, "Have a nice day"! As to send me away and that I was not welcome to return. I would also comment, that the order was still not delivered correctly, missing one regular taco that is part of the Chalupa meal. At this point I give up!
No one should be treated this poorly, I didn't get angry or irrte when I called to explain that part of the order was missing. So, to be treated with such hostility is outrageous and disappointing!
I would ask that you review your training policy and see that this employee is given the correct training and tools to understand how customer service is to be provided. If the restaurant is having a theft issue, that should be addressed. Escalating a simple missed order to the point of abuse is...
Read moreI can’t count the number of times this Taco Bell and it’s amazing late-night staff have saved my life: with friendly, efficient taco service at the end of a long day.
Sure, it’s just the standard Taco Bell menu you could find at any other location. But the combination of consistent late night service (till at least 1 AM) served up by a TRULY cool group of people…? It makes a big difference to me.
Always quick to offer a complimentary cup of ice-cold water (a beloved offering to penny-pinching diners such as myself), some extra sauce packets, or an extra bunch of napkins (for the messy eater, or the brave drive-thru customer planning to attempt the (ever-risky) “eating-tacos-while-driving” maneuver.
These are just a few examples I feel compelled to share, in support of these wonderful young people. The fast-food employees who serve us throughout the course of our lives play such a brief, almost forgettable role, in the overall story of our life.
Yet, how many dozens of these fine folks have been there to serve us on-demand food at affordable prices, often when we needed it most? While traveling out of state, exhausted and elated to spot that OPEN 24/7 FOOD sign?? Maybe you work late nights or overnight shift: tell me you’ve not stopped for fast food after work @ 12:50 am, or maybe 7:30 am. You look like a crazy, disheveled mess. But more often than not, the down to earth people working the drive thru or the counter? They’re just happy to get your order in quickly, and without judgment.
I digress, but if you’ve made it this far into a Google review of a Taco Bell, perhaps you are like me: moved by people’s extraordinary actions in the otherwise mundane. If you live around here, I urge you to frequent this Taco Bell location if you can. There’s no hidden prizes, free food, or other clandestine activities to speak of. It is a standard Taco Bell operation, with the same offerings as any other location.
But the genuine warmth and welcome I feel upon each visit is remarkable in and of itself. I think food tastes better, when you’ve had a positive, fun interaction with your host. So thank you for considering my words, I say them with all sincerity and admiration for this Taco Bell. Live long, and taco-bout the little things in life that bring you joy 🌮🙏💗
Warm regards,

Read moreYesterday was just such a weird experience. So prior to going I checked the online app for the items and prices because they’ve changed the menu since I last went. My wife and I decided on a taco supreme party box as well as a couple other items and drinks. When I ordered in the drivethru the way the order was inputted was $15.99 for a standard taco box then $9.60 for upgrade to supreme. Our order totaled to $41 with two $1 Pepsi’s and two chicken quesadillas as well. As I’m in line I began to think it was weird it cost that much but thought maybe it got rang in wrong so figured I’d ask at the window as this is significantly more than on the website. If I had ordered online and done drivethru pickup, my order would have been $10 less. The (I’m presuming) manager came up to the window and explained that pricing on the site is the national average and that franchises can change pricing at their own discretion. This is an understandable explanation and at this point I just wanted to go home so I agreed to pay the extra $10+ and got my food despite the fact that I could have cancelled the order and just ordered on the site and done pick up at the same location for less but spend more time waiting. I went home and as my wife goes to open the box, we realize that I was given a full box of regular tacos instead of supreme. Now I had to drive back to address that I was given the wrong items. At this point I was aggravated that a simple fast food experience had taken 45 minutes because I drove home prior to realizing the order was made wrong. We went back to get a refund and when I pulled up to the window the manager handed me $22 and said to keep the box as they can’t take it back. I said thank you and went on my way. My wife however made me realize after I pulled away that $22 was not a full refund. It was partial which means now between the original payment and this refund that I had still paid $19 for those two $1 Pepsi’s which were now warm, two $5 chicken quesadillas which were now cold, and a box of tacos that neither of us wanted nor actually ate. We ended up throwing everything away and going to get food somewhere else. It was just such an uncomfortable experience and left a bad enough impression that we likely won’t...
