This diner (restaurant) has all of the right components in place and consistently performs. Quality chef prepared comfort food favorites; 2. Excellent plate presentations; 3. Fair menu prices—good portion size value for the price; 4. Dining area immaculately clean with everything in place; 5. Excellent waitstaff service (Jo'Lyn our server 5 stars) adds to that at-home dining experience. A personal favorite is the Fish & Chips— 4 nice pieces of beer battered haddock served with uniquely presented French fries and fresh coleslaw. *best in town. This is a great place for the most part. The food is absolutely delicious. But there’s a waitress working there that shouldn’t be. Her name is Tracy. Extremely unprofessional attitude. Brought my food over and dumped my order of toast on the table and then walked away like nothing happened. No apology or anything. She didn’t mention it to the manager. Didn’t come back once to ask how everything was going or if we needed anything. And when she brought my to go order by, she reached over my company while he was eating to set it down in the booth. She acts like she has no concept on how to work in a diner. Thankfully the manager on duty was helpful and apologetic. Anytime I go there, I’ll make sure she doesn’t serve me or my company. We had lunch here today and every table was taken. Good to see. The menu is varied with something for everyone . The interior was completely gutted and is clean and airy. Our waitress was pleasant and accommodating. With the diner crowded, our food was served in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered a BLT, which was not skimpy, and came with a pickle and delicious cole slaw. We also ordered a portobello wrap, scrambled eggs, spinach, portobello mushrooms, mozzarella in a flour tortilla served with home fries. It too was not skimpy. And it was flavorful and delicious, so were the home fries. We also had a slice of the chocolate cake, very chocolatey, moist and not overly sweet. We can't wait to go back and order more...
