Subway — Restaurant in City of Poughkeepsie

The coupon situation with this store is crazy. Came in to use two coupons, I was told very quickly that I couldn't use both for one transaction, which I could understand. I proceeded to say I'm doing two separate transactions with two different payment methods and the cashier (rudely)refused to take the order. I was confused, since when can't you use two different coupons on two separate orders? To the owner, so your willing to lose out on revenue over coupons? As I was asking since when can't you do two separate transactions, she continued to tell me I was one person, so anyway it goes she wasn't accepting them. The coupon itself says "one use" Owner, where does it say you can't do separate transactions per person? Another employee came out and took my order, and I also had to have my son come in from the car to get his order since I was unable to do two separate transactions. I also know it depends on who's working as well, I've come into this store and used two coupons with one order on multiple occasions and never had any issues. I have been coming to this location for a very long time. I do understand it is under new management but the new owners have completely ruined my experience here. I like certain things on my sandwich which I have no problem paying for and they will not accommodate my requests. I get no explanation as to why, I ask to speak with the owner , I’m told he is never there he owns other stores elsewhere. I ask how can I speak with him regarding my concerns. I’m told there is no way. Ok so who is the manager and who made the decision about me not being able to get the juice of the hot peppers out on my sandwich. There is no one I can speak to there is no answer as to why I can’t even if I will pay for it. I truly am upset over this. I have been eating my sandwich this way for over ten years. This Subway replaces the location on Burnett Blvd by Ulster Savings. The fare is standard Subway stock - nothing fancy, but a nice fast food option in contrast to the neighboring McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell.

What stands out to me about this Subway unlike others in the City of Poughkeepsie / Town of Poughkeepsie vicinity are the following:

1. Size - the interior is large enough for several patrons to eat if they wish to eat in, and still feel like they have some space between tables

2. Customer service - outstanding and it makes the meal almost taste better because you’re treated very well by friendly staff

3. Cleanliness - well-maintained and spotless.
