Ready Coffee — Restaurant in Town of Poughkeepsie

I always have a great experience here and they always make the best cup of coffee I've ever had. So good in fact that they have literally ruined dunkin for me. But I'm leaving this review for a different reason other than the amazing coffee. I'm writing this for the people there who are always so kind and caring. No where else do employees talk to me the way they do and no where else can you get service like they provide. On Friday June 11th 7:30am, I was having one of the worst days of my life so of course why wouldn't I go to Ready Coffee... I wish I got the persons name but she and the team there really turned my day around and I couldnt be more grateful. They listened to me and wrote some inspiring words on my cup. Honestly its the little things and I hope they realize how impactful that small gesture was to me. The smallest thing like that can change someone's entire mood and make their day or even week or month etc. I thanked them at the window but it wasn't enough to show my gratitude. Thank you Ready Coffee team, thank you for making this world a little brighter...

So sad we went there Sunday ( Oct 24 th ) and had a amazing experience the person at the drive thru was so helpful we asked for our order a specific way and she said we don't have that foam but she could steam the syrup for us so helpful and made it a perfect experience so we told her your a 15 minute ride but we will be back . so we decided to go back today and asked for the same the girl looked confused and asked the man who seemed to be the manager and he said " we don't do that " I said well the girl yesterday ... He interrupted me and said ,no are you sure you didn't go to Starbucks ?" I bit my lip payed for our order that wasn't what we asked for and left with something I wouldn't feed my dog and unfortunately will never go...

I love my coffee I've been coming here for a year now the issue I have is that they make most of their money off of ice if you're getting an iced beverage. I've asked for the past six times that I've been here if I could get light ice and I get the same amount of ice each time. I sound crazy but I ask for no ice one time and they told me they could not do that thus indicating that they make most of their money off of ice. also not to be The annoying environmentalist here but you should really ask if somebody wants a straw before giving them one.if said person says they don't want a straw don't nonchalantly throw it out because that defeats the purpose of the environmentalist...
