Traghaven Whiskey Pub & Co — Restaurant in Town of Red Hook

At least the best burgers I've had in a decade. Hands down. (I'm from Texas and traveled far and wide, Bk to Ca, for a great burger for years) Not to mention the service is exactly the best, unless you're looking for someone to treat you like a baby and pamper you fraudulently in front of your friends for no good reason. I find real people refreshing and other real people do too. If you like real people, real conversations, and really amazing food, look no further. My wife and have been coming here once a week for a year with not one bad experience. I can't say enough, I want the t- shirt. Side note, if you're lucky enough to get Devon or Sarah, realize you have the best quality cocktail makers/people around, and They're not going anywhere, so crack a joke, relax, and enjoy. There shining faces have both become a site for sore eyes for me and mine. Blessed to have them within a 25 min drive. That is all I can say without repeating myself....

Very puzzling experience. The website says opening at 5:00p but we arrived on 3/2 at 5:50 to a locked door and told they weren't opening for another 10 minutes and the door was relocked. At 6:00 the outside lights were turned on but the door remained locked We sat in the car and watched several people try the door and leave. By 6:20 we gave up and left as well. The whole time the bartender was reading something behind the bar and totally ignoring the door, the person who initially opened the door to tell us they weren't open yet never reappeared. Not the Irish hospitality we hoped for and unfortunate as we were there to review the place for members of a local whiskey club. Can't comment on anything else as we never got...

After a year I'm just seeing that I didn't put any information for my bad rating so here ya go. Never had such a rude encounter in my life. The bartender/owner was busy serving the busy atmosphere, and me and my friend were starting to feel like he was getting to everyone except us, and when I politely tried to get his attention with "excuse me" he responded with "shut up, shut up you see I'm very busy I will get to you when I can" and I of course didn't respond pleasantly and told him he doesn't know me and he responded with "I don't want to know you" . Would never come back to this establishment and felt very discriminated against. It was just senseless and...
