Bagel Buddies — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

Horrible. First off if you're taking an order and the customer ask if you're sure it's correct because it looks wrong on the paper, and then you come back short a sandwich, checks the order, and indeed it is incorrect, don't tell him he's wrong and argue with him. After all he knows what he wants to eat. But especially don't claim you're short handed and then go to the edge of the counter to continue to talk crap about him with some loafer, while the other employees have to come out and fix the order, and the lines out the door!! Never have I recieved a egg sandwich so messed up it had mustard on it but every single one of them was messed up. It's Eggs, Cheese, and Meat. Guy, step back and let the lady run her show before you ruin...

I live out in Miller Place, so don't go here often, but went here last winter and had the most awesome egg sandwich. Unfortunately, I went here last week looking forward to another egg sandwich, but didn't order one because I honestly couldn't bear to--the employees looked exhausted and when I asked if they were ok, they said "yes, just a hot day today" I noticed the grill in the back and asked if they had ac back there and they said no. Regardless of how they said they were fine, I just simply couldn't ask them to stand next to that open grill with no ac. I ordered a bagel and cream cheese, which was good, but I surely won't be going back there in the summertime--it's just not right to require people to work under...

Been going here for years and lately it’s always a problem. Their latest trick is walking away from you before you finish ordering and then they act surprised when your order is wrong.

I don’t know what kind of attempt at speed and efficiency this is, but my orders are wrong more often than not. Last week was the third time I ended up with two bagels with nothing on them because the person behind the counter dashed away after before I finished saying “with cream cheese.”

Also, my egg sandwiches are rarely made correctly but that’s been going on for like 5 years (I don’t know what’s so hard about a Bacon, Egg and Cheese with Salt, Pepper and Ketchup).
