Clean, social distancing and masks required. Pleasant & friendly staff. Food prepared fresh as well as fresh loaves of baguette bread wrapped traditionally. Accomodation made for avocado on the side for one sandwich and the Turkey-Avocado BLT is stuffed with pickle included in brown sandwich wrap as well as cashier hand delivering me baguettes while I waited for sandwich order at 2nd counter. Sandwiches prepared and wrapped by friendly food servers who were supervised for correct order delivery. Handicapped parking generous with at least 3 spaces noted. Only drawback was again, opening swing doors while on a rolling walker and entering/exiting with packages, although courteous cashier had brought my bread in a shopping bag so I was able to manage my order safely. Great place, always busy during prime lunchtime and evening. Outdoor dining for about 4 spaced tables observed. Highly recommend for delicious healthy food. Pricey, prohibitive for some. 2 whole sandwiches and 2 loaves of french baguette = $ 32.00....
Read moreThere's much room for improvement here. Long story short, our order was not taken correctly so we ended up having to wait again for the correct order, which doubled our wait time. Once we checked the order in the car, they didn't include the apple vinegrette with our Fuji apple salad but the wrong dressing (green goddess). We had to go back into the store and ask for the correct dressing. Our 3 orders of the fontega chicken sandwich were all very inconsistent. They ran out of ciabatta bread and made 2 of the sandwiches on regular baguettes/hero while the third was made with a tomato basil bread. (They only told us for the tomato basil one) The chicken in the sandwiches were haphazardly placed, lacked tomatoes, and they totally left out the basil. Looked like they rushed through the order or didn't pay much attention. When we visit other Panera bread chains, this is our usual order, but this was by far the worst execution of it we've...
Read moreThis is one of Panera's busier local restaurants on eastern Long Island, probably being its proximity to the Tanger Mall Outlet stores across the street. It is neither the cleanest or the fastest that I have ever been to but the food is always predictably good and if you text the order in you can avoid the wait in line. Because it is so busy, the management needs to police the table area a little bit more often and clean off the tables and push in the chairs to at least make it look a little bit neater and more inviting. This last visit I was a little bit disappointed with the call in order because the employee who bagged it put the broth bowl on the bottom of the bag and then crushed it with a few heavier items so we ended up with a real mess on our hands.....a bunch of soggy sandwiches and only half a bowl of soup. As the holiday season wanes, I'm sure that these problems will go away so we will continue to...
