This past Sunday, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining at 25 North in Mamaroneck, and we’re still talking about how incredible the experience was. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms by our server, Nicholas, who made the evening unforgettable. His warmth and attention to detail made us feel like we were dining in the kitchen of an old friend. 5/5 stars with such exceptional service for sure!
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Period.
We started with the Shoestring Zucchini, perfectly crisp and paired with a marinara sauce that was as fresh as it was flavorful. We also tried the Creamy Burrata Bacon Style, which came with thick, crispy bacon and a drizzle of wildflower honey—it was absolutely divine. For our mains, my partner couldn’t get enough of the Angry Seafood Bowl, which was a feast of clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, calamari, and lobster tails, all tossed with linguini. I went for the Veal Chop Old World Parma, and let me just say, it was the star of the show. That 1lb. veal chop was cooked to perfection, topped with amatriciana sauce and fresh mozzarella—it was indulgent in the best way. Even reheating it the next day, it was just as delicious.
Nicholas recommended a wine pairing that brought out the best in every dish. He really knows his stuff, and it made the meal feel even more special. We finished with an Espresso Martini and the Oreo Stuffed Zeppoles—oh my goodness, those zeppoles! Warm, fluffy, and stuffed with Oreo filling, with a side of Nutella for dipping, they were the perfect ending to an already incredible dinner.
What really stood out to us was how 25 North manages to feel both elegant and cozy at the same time. The space was lively, filled with the sound of people laughing and enjoying themselves, but never in a way that felt too loud or chaotic. It’s the kind of place where you can dress up for a nice dinner but still feel completely at ease—perfect for a special date night or a relaxed evening out with family and friends.
Thank you to Nicholas and the team at 25 North for giving us such a wonderful experience. We’re already planning our next visit and will be recommending this gem to...
Read moreI absolutely love 25 North. From the moment you walk in until you walk out, it’s a wonderful experience. I’ve been here a few times and I’m not sure if he is the manager or owner or both, but he greeted us immediately each time. We were seated quickly and greeted by our waiter. The menu has so many great food options and the wine selection is great as well. The service has been quick and friendly each time. Everything I’ve ordered has been divine. All meals were cooked to perfection. They have the best linguine with clams I’ve ever had. My most recent visit I had their special: the angry seafood bowl and WOW! It was linguine with calamari, mussels, shrimp, lobster, oysters and clams. I don’t normally like lobster, but this bowl changed me. The portions for the bowl was huge and I had lunch for 3 days! I’ve had their lemon sorbet and Oreo cheesecake for dessert and both are fantastic. They also make great cocktails. The dark knight was great. I will come back for their wonderful Italian food and service any day! Can’t wait until...
Read moreWe had been meaning to try 25 North because we'd heard good things. We really liked how they set up their outdoor dining experience. They have a tent and have really created a wonderful ambiance. We had a reservation for 6:15 and got seated right away but there seemed to be some kind of waiter mix up. Our table was in sort of a nook, so it felt like we were sort of forgotten about. We were never given a cocktail list and just rush ordered drinks verbally when a waiter tried to make up for all the time we were waiting. We had no clue how much the drinks were going to cost. The paper menu was a little confusing, but had a lot of fantastic looking options. We both got pasta dishes that were excellent! No one ever came to ask if we wanted another drink or if we needed anything. We waited more that 15 minutes before anyone thought to ask if we wanted the check. We plan on going back because of the food. The issues with our service seemed like a fluke because most other tables seemed to be well...
