I just stop by trying to support local businesses, but got a very bad experience. The service was bad and there is no price transparency. I ordered a Ruben Special, which was supposed to come with fries, onion rings, or potato salad. When I got my order I asked if it it was supposed to come with one of the above and they turned around and said I didn’t ask for it when I order as if it was my fault. That aside they have a price transparency issue, the price of the sandwich was $13 and change, but I was charged $14+ before tax and tips, it is not a big deal but I wanted to let them know so I asked. The person told me there is a card fee for not using cash. Which I am fine to pay if they post it somewhere. I asked them where is it posted that cash and card are different price. He just Ignore me. We tried The Chubby Chicken sandwich, loaded with chicken cutlet, cheddar cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce, and The Mamaroneck Special, featuring grilled steak, sautéed onions, broccoli rabe, and mozzarella cheese. Both were toasted to perfection and packed with flavor. On the side, we enjoyed crispy onion rings and golden, thin-cut fries-both absolutely delicious! And to top it off, we had a cup of strong, flavorful coffee with a little milk that hit all the right notes. This place is a gem, and we can’t wait to go back! As another local business it was great to finally have them open. I’ve tried them 3 times and still not a fan. It’s a shame because we can walk there and with 11 employees they are loosing a lot of business. Service too slow… no real system. Prices way too high and an another review stated to transparency and the whole “ every sandwich comes with fries onion rings etc and when you don’t get them they still charge the same. Really hoping the get together ….. much better value and Awsome service at Anthony’s… only 3 min drive. Hope ownership...
