AMERICAN PRIME — Restaurant in Town of Rye

Been here many times tried to give them a chance even after being disappointed ..It is convenient n beautiful ..This place just got Sold again… n down hill they are going .wth this new management .. What a shame such a good location wth parking , BUT poor Management ..We have had an issue every time with the Menu and we still have returned .. they have not had Beer ! ,then no Proceco ! .. fruit flies in my drink prob in the ice .. just took them out …MENU has options that are NOT available no Short ribs …no Thursday Prime rib special ..as well as multiple other thgs that are Listed so we decided to ask wat do u have ? We were told Pork Chopsss we had no choice so took and it was one small pork chop .. no chopssss which menu stated ..cook apologized as well as very nice servers .they are so sweet an attentive . they were confused as well they needed to ask the cook each time if what we choose was available …they are frustrated as well …we don’t let our disappointment reflect the tip we appreciated them well …n … After this last experience I probably would not return unless there was a change .. we were told menu needs to be changed it hasn’t been done . I hope things change there are lots of other options ..would love for this place to be as packed and successful as the previous ones .. don’t let this...

If I had a chance to give this place 0 stars I would. First and last time here.

We sat down at a table for about 15 minutes before receiving any menus. Then we were asked if we can move our table? Once we moved our table, they only had 4 chairs, and 4 sets of silverware, my friend actually had to go and back to the other table and get his own chair. 30 minutes in, we finally receive our drinks. ( which were okay ) Next, when we asked for more water, the waiter spilled water all over one of my friends at the table. We asked someone where the bathroom was, and were pointed in the wrong direction, one of the members of our party jokingly said to the waiter “ first day on the job” and rudely replied “ no it’s my second!” Moving forward , we asked for some olive oil for our bread, and we received a bowl of olives, peppers, and tomatoes……

The appetizers were the only reason why I am giving them a 1 star, they were good, but nothing that knocked my socks off. The steaks however , 4 of us ordered the bone in ribeye. Poorly seasoned , the sear was good, but absolutely no flavor. The bones for the steaks were so massive they were blocking other...

American Prime is in Decline. Twelve friends went to Friday lunch here. It was our third visit. Four entrees were sent back. Meat was cooked incorrectly. Waitress made “announcements” prior to ordering. No substitutions for lunch specials, no individual checks, it is customary to leave her a 20% tip. In her announcements she said this is Blackstone Restaurants Policy. I found out that she had to telephone the Manager for consent to give individual checks and to substitute potatoes to a vegetable. Previously they always accommodated us. She seemed stressed and angry. I called later to complain to Manager. He was argumentative and rude. I followed by emailing Eddy the owner. He just ignored me. During lunch there were no other customers. The twelve of us will never go back. Very disappointed in food, chef and service. Clearly, management doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. Bye, bye...
