J J Cassone Bakery Inc — Restaurant in Town of Rye

The driver of this trailer with the license plate #AC82519 that was on the NJ Turnpike was driving like a drunk or a drugged up. This happened on this past Sunday 01/07/2024 at around 9:55PM. He was driving like a madman, driving over the lines constantly, erratically speeding, and worst crime of all.. tailgating. He was on my back (roughly three to five feet clearance) for about 2 miles. Then after he went back to the fast lane and was tailgating another passenger vehicle but this time it was at maximum two feet distance in between. On regular passenger vehicles, tailgating is dangerous as is. Now imagine having 80,000 pounds loaded trailer or 35,000 pounds unloaded trailer coming at your back at 75 mph. It’s literally a death sentence and I was driving with my family. The driver’s behavior is unacceptable, shameful, ignorant, menacing, threatening to society, and honesty could be a case for an attempted murder. The driver is long beyond unprofessional and if this is the quality of drivers that Cassone hires then they are in for a rude awakening. The company is represented by the food, service, quality, and most importantly their workers (internal and external). That driver should not be on the road at all, never mind hauling a load on an 18 wheeler. If the company doesn’t do anything then the DOT should definitely do a thorough investigation of all...

We have been using their club rolls for many years. Last week and this week they are now $1 more. These did not go up in price 10 cents or a quarter....a full dollar. That is unreal. We do not even do reviews....but we are so upset about this mark up being so fast and so much. We buy these at Shop Rite. Now we can no longer afford them after using them after so many years we have lost count. The excuses will be the same we all hear. So let's...

I used to always buy my cakes, bread and pastries here. Lately the cakes don't taste like they used to and the same thing for the pastries. They must have changed the recipes as they are not as sweet as they used to be. And what do you eat dessert for except to get that sweet sugar rush. The bread is still excellent and I really like their sesame bastioni. Wish they would go back to the old recipes for their cakes...
