Good food, abhorrent service. I've ordered delivery from here a lot and the pizza is good, HOWEVER, we decided to go there for dinner one night and stood in line behind another couple, also waiting to be seated. Staff members looked at us but no one acknowledged our existence. The other couple had apparently been waiting for some time without anyone speaking to them. There were two open tables that we could see, but no one had the decency to tell us that there would be a wait, or they'd seat us shortly... Just completely ignored. By everyone. On the restaurant side and behind the counter. I finally said something to the waitress who had walked by us about 5 times, who told me there were no tables. I pointed one out (because there clearly was a table, but instead of saying it wasn't available at the moment she just flat out lied?), and she begrudgingly seated the other couple as they were there first. But again, didn't say a word to us about how long of a wait it would be. We waited another couple of minutes and then left. I was so surprised to find such awful service there. Will not be ordering...
Read moreIf you’re looking for amazing Italian food, Villa Rustica should be at the top of your list. Their lobster ravioli is hands down the best I’ve ever had—pillowy pasta filled with rich, flavorful lobster and topped with a creamy sauce that ties it all together perfectly. It’s one of those dishes you’ll be thinking about long after the meal is over.
The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. They’re attentive without being overbearing and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. The menu has something for everyone, and no matter what you choose, you can tell every dish is made with care and high-quality ingredients.
Villa Rustica is one of those places that feels special every time you go. Whether you’re celebrating or just grabbing dinner, it’s a great spot for delicious food and a great vibe. Seriously, try the lobster ravioli—you’ll...
Read moreIt’s a good place with great staff. I only have a few sentences about the Chicken Saltimbocca alla Romana and the side of Penne pasta I ordered.
There was no taste, the chicken was overcooked like rubber, too much oil, and the pasta was completely dry with some marinara sauce on top. I ate a bit and left it aside.
I understand that when you have a vast menu, not everything is 100% fresh, and some stuff needs to be pre-cooked. The cook or chef must balance what is acceptable and what is not.
Cesar salad: fresh greens, excellent cheese, the sauce is too salty
Gnocchi Bolognese: great. I do recommend French Fries: Recommend Cheese pizza: recommended
I will definitely go back there, but I will not order the same chicken again. It was disappointing because I was looking for a place that served something different from usual “Italian food” places, so maybe I will get...
