Review only for Latin americans!!! Hey Latinos if you want to experience old school class racism like we used to experience in our countries please visit. "Port Chester Diner" from the unfriendly waiter rushing my family to order to dropping coffee all over my mobile phone to the crappy attitude when I told him to hold on because we weren't ready to order(place was pretty empty though) and of course the attitude transfered over to the rest of staff including the hostess who made a smart remark when I walked in from outside after having a cigarette. I could have attributed this to horrible customer service BUT, I sat and observed how other customers from different ethnic backgrounds received exemplary service . But please do not mistake this as a complaint I really enjoyed the hipocracy of folk that completely forgot their ethnic background , food was average to say the least but prices was accordingly to what a decent diner would charge, Tip? I am usually a good tipper and I did leave the European wannabe waiter a $10 tip on a $96 bill way below 15% but $10 more than he deserved. I certainly love the good old U.S.A. but I also love my roots and those of my fellow Latinos of other nationalities which enrich our culture, the staff at this...

On a Sunday evening six of us friends went in there to have dinner about 9PM. The place was almost empty. The waiter gave us menus, but when i wanted to order shrimp scampi he told me nothing on that menu was available that evening. Fine. Perhaps the kitchen closed early I thought. Mind you it's a 24 Hour diner. So we all ended up ordering breakfast type food. One of the guys ordered french toast had to call the waiter to bring syrup. I ordered Feta and spinach omelet. When the food came the waiter told me that they made the wrong omelet for me and coud I take it instead. It was some kind of omelet with yellow mozzarella cheese. I accepted it becaise I didn't want to wait any longer. Than when we asked for separate checks he brought as a compounded check and told us that they dont do separate checks, we will be told at the cash register how much each one of our cost is. But since the cashier couldnt figure out how to do it, the waiter ended up printing separate checks anyway. Oh, and when a friend of mine politely made a comment that my "wrong" omelet should be on the house, we were told that my omelet was more expensive than the one I ordered. I will never eat there again and I can not recommend this...

This place was absolutely awful. The person who seated us was totally disinterested and basically grunted at us. The menu has probably over 100 choices, and none of them are particularly distinctive. We had an okay salad to start, followed by some stale bread and a bin of random vegetables. The main course involved some soggy gross beef brisket, along with some sugared corn that was nearly all white, and instant mashed potatoes. My girlfriend ordered tea, and after she was finished the waiter came up and poured coffee into her cup without even waiting for her response. We didn't even eat 3/4 of our meal because the food was so terrible. We felt this experience was bad enough to complain about. So we approached the man at the front desk and told him that we were unhappy and unsatisfied with our meal, and that we didn't feel it was worth the $32 we were charged. He was instantly defensive about this. He dismissed any concerns we had and quickly became rude and dismissive to us, even suggesting that maybe our palette just wasn't quite good enough to appreciate his food. So we paid and left, totally outraged at this sham of a restaurant. We could have gotten better service and food...

3.75 Stars. I've said this before, but will repeat, you can only hold so much until things start falling off. Customer Service: Very Good! Food: Was a bit less than par. My experience is; when a menu is too broad nothing is great. Only par. But we had a couple of fails with the food. Eggplant Chicken Was a rubbery. Over cooked, or perhaps reheated? The steak was good on one place then no taste on the next. I was puzzled. Bathrooms: Were very clean! As I have recommended to clients in the past, it's better to master a dish than to not be known for any. Cut down the menu and focus on making a couple of great dishes then a plethora of boring ones. I would recommend the managers to read the story of Dave Thomas... Return Factor 75% Recommended a Friend Factor 50% The reason for the high stars was for the customer service.

Sure! Here's an edited version of your review with a smoother flow: --- The Port Chester Diner was okay. I’ve definitely had better, more flavorful omelets at other diners. The one I had was a bit bland, flat, and slightly dry—nothing special. Since eggs are my go-to breakfast option for their simplicity, I tend to compare them across different places, and this one didn’t stand out. That said, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, with a typical diner vibe. It was a nice spot for a meeting, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was super kind, which is always a big plus. I’d definitely eat there again, especially because of its convenient location. It’s right on the main strip, just off I-95, making it an easy stop. While the food wasn’t memorable, the service and accessibility make it worth another visit.

The most disgusting food I've had in Port Chester by far. The top and bottom buns on my burger were soggy, the fries were soggy. The chocolate milk shake did not even taste like chocolate. It tasted like warm frozen milk. Milkshakes at Burger King make there's taste like it's from a 25 cents store. They had the worst strawberry shortcake I've ever had in my life. It didn't have wippe cream. It was icing. Strawberry shortcake uses wippe cream not icing. They just gave me a slice of yellow cake and called it something else. The cake was so bad I ate as much as I could until I gagged and threw it away. I threw away cake. Like who does that. How do make cake so bad someone has to throw it away after almost throwing up. Never go here. It's overpriced for disgusting food.
