Iāve made coffee in some of the coolest shops in New York and around the world. THE PRODUCER COFFEE is by far the cleanest cafe Iāve ever come across; Iād even go as far as to say you will not find a cleaner cafe in the country. Noah (the owner), is a very kind human being and takes a lot of pride in providing the best products available. The COLD BREWS here are on par with the best in the country. And so is their filtered coffee. I would say this is top 2 of all time for me.
This part is only for true coffee heads: The ESPRESSO can be improved. From experimenting with different blends and roast profiles, to mastering the art of pulling an espresso shot. There are so many variables that come into play when pulling a shot of espresso that sticking to an exact formula does not make much sense. When I order a cortado for instance, I would want to trust the baristaās judgment in knowing when is the right time to stop pulling the shot instead of sticking to a traditional 2:1 pulling ratio, because so many things change from one shot to the next. But you can almost always tell a good shot from a bad shot by paying attention to how the liquid comes out of the sprout. I would want the barista to steam the milk and free pour instead of transferring the milk from the pitcher to a measuring cup, because that change in temperature can make a huge difference.
But still, This cafe is easily top 2 of all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI moved into the building where The Producer Coffee Studio is located just to be close to their banana Nutella breadāyes, it's that good! This indulgent treat is an absolute must-try, and it pairs perfectly with my go-to order, the iced Chagaccino. Both are pure perfection, and they keep me coming back day after day.
The atmosphere here is incredibly vibey, with a welcoming, cozy feel that makes it the ideal spot to relax or get some work done. But what really sets The Producer apart are the folks who work thereāthey are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll meet. Whether youāre a regular or a first-timer, youāre always greeted with a smile.
This cafĆ© has truly become a staple in the heart of Port Chester, and Iām so grateful to have it right at my doorstep. If you havenāt stopped by yet, youāre missing out on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have been following them in the lead up to their opening and was hopeful for a good coffee place in that neighborhood. They have an excellent and interesting selection of bakery items that they source from New York City, including some savory items. The space is more industrial sparse rather than cozy Brooklyn hipster cafe, but plenty of chairs and tables to hang out. They already have a small branded merch store in one corner. The couple behind the counter were very friendly and personable. The beans are not roasted here and the coffee was below average. I put that down to being nubes - nothing a simple barista class could not fix. I really want this new location to succeed so I initially did not want to give them a 1. But the coffee is still bad so we moved on and...
