In the past two weeks I have enjoyed eating at this restaurant many times. All experiences have been great up until tonight. I ordered the same meal as I have countless times in the past and it just so happens that tonight was an absolute disaster. I ordered a side Caesar salad as an appetizer followed by my dinner, long story short I end up getting served a dinner sized portion of said salad (with my meal, I asked for it as a starter). I made the waitress aware of the mixup and she said “not to worry keep the salad and she will take care of it”. When it came time for the check she comes up to me and claims that they do not offer side Caesar salads (mind you i have started with a side Caesar with no issues every other night prior to tonight) and that I can take it up with the manager. He (Mike) shortly comes over to the table and before I can even finish explaining my situation he gets all up in my face explaining to me how “i should consider myself luckily that i have been served it in the past as it is not offered on the menu” and accusing me that I’m the one in the wrong.I respond back to him saying Isn’t that the wait staffs responsibility to tell customers what is or isn’t offered? Apparently romaine lettuce is Saugerties version of Caviar because he offered no credit on the check and i ended up having to pay full price for something i didn’t originally order. Not to mention, we waited over 15 minutes once seated to get any waitresses attention. At the end of the day it is what it is but I’m mostly appalled with the tone and lack of respect he spoke to me with. I have never ever been treated in such a degrading way as this man spoke to me. Clearly the restaurant needs a lot of help and for this reason… STAY FAR AWAY FROM STELLAS

Saugerties has so much more to offer than some flavorless food being thrown on a paper place and wait staff who treat you like a piece of dirt...

Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is casual Surfside. This seasonal restaurant is exactly what you might find next to your favorite beach. They have indoor and outdoor bar seating, and several outdoor tables. The menu is mostly burgers, salads, and sandwiches. The food was good quality, prepared and presented well, and priced right! Keith, our bartender, was attentive. Mike, the owner, was on site and explained to us what brings tourists to this area, including a very dedicated and large group of equestrians enjoying many varied competitions and shows. The ready availability of Ait B&B's assures that travelers can always find lodging in the area while sightseeing in the Catskills including magnificent scenes like Kaatterskill Falls. This restaurant is also OPEN ON TUESDAYS, unlike almost all others in this area. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, which was excellent, and (importantly) the fries were cooked very well done as requested. The wife had the Southwest salad, which was quite large, and included a very nice varied mixture of different greens. She said it was very good. I'd definitely...

So my son plays junior football and this was a treat after a brutal loss. My husband and I always try to support local establishments and this day was no different. The place is gorgeous and pretty spacious. It was not too crowded when we went on a Sunday afternoon and that was great for us.

My husband had the seadog, which is an ipa battered piece of cod served on a hoagie with classic coleslaw. He was teetering the line between that and a black bean burger and believed he made the right choice. He said the fish was perfectly seasoned and perfect accompaniment to the soft yet crunchy hoagie.

I had the southwest salad and it was the epitome of what I think salads are, an arranged bowl of flavors and textures. From the dried corn kernels to the julienned carrots to the perfectly dressed romaine leafs, it did not disappoint. I love how they bring the salads out in 2 bowls so that you can toss and dump it into the other one. Presentation was immaculate.

My son devoured the coconut shrimp and side of sweet potato fries, while my daughter happily enjoyed her pickings from everyone’s plate.

A great place to get a...

I thinks it’s a good place! It’s a somewhere you can sit down and have fast better then average food. Our frozen drinks were good nothing special. The pretzel bits were amazing the sauce it comes with is very different with a spice like horseradish so less of a mustard taste but including a very honey taste. The panini cheese wasn’t melted so that you could taste that the meat wasn’t warm enough but still a great sandwich. I liked the kabobs but I’m not a fan of rice so that’s just personal preference I’d rather mashed potatoes or a salad or even a choice with my meal the cook and flavor was great loved the veggies too, however I feel that the sauce poured on needs to be grilled off a bit cause it just feels like wet sauce not grilled on it or maybe drizzled on instead. Overall I’d go back for a nice meal on the patio again! Well staffed and fair prices.

I had the pleasure of dining at Stella's Station in Saugerties today and I must say it was a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and the outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. I decided to go for the grilled chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by its generous portion size on thick, home-baked bread. The fries were a delicious accompaniment. I also tried the Caesar side salad and steamers. The steamers were fresh and tasty, though I wish they had been served with a bit of broth or sauce. Overall, I highly recommend Stella's for a fun and enjoyable dining experience.

It’s a cute little place that looks like it used to be an old gas station. The falafel wrap was good, though slightly spicy and so big I could only eat half of it. The coconut shrimp were very good, too. We had our dogs with us, so we could only sit in the outer patio, under an umbrella, instead of the inner patio, under an awning (which looked slightly cooler.) This was probably because of some local ordinance, though, and wouldn’t make a difference most of the time. They were very friendly otherwise and our food came out quickly. I would eat here again, if I was passing through town again.
