The Partition Bar — Restaurant in Town of Saugerties

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at this bar. We were being our usual touristy-selves and were drawn in by the mesmerizing fountain display that center pieces the patio. Our waitress, Angelica, was the staple that holds this establishment together. Her attention to detail was spot on and when we decided to challenge her, she proved up for the task. My spouse ordered seasoned ice, and most of you don’t even know what that means but Angelica did and she even followed up with the perfect pair of blue cheese stuffed olives to complete our drink. Her spirit and charisma were more entertainment than we could handle, so we decided to come back and visit a second time. The place is nice visually. It has cute water fountain effect from the ground. However, service is incredibly poor and the drinks are mediocre. Staff made eye contact with me multiple times with no acknowledgement and it took 15 minutes to place a drink order. They claimed it was busy but there was under 10 people at the bar. Staff even left the bar area without asking if I wanted to place an order. I had to get my own menu from behind the bar and was still not acknowledged. I wanted to try the food, but was afraid it would be cold by the to e I got it. I'll skip this place...

Awesome place to kick back and have fun. Corn hole is my favorite, they have a sprinkler for the kids and adults on a hot day haha. The live band is fantastic, the people were great. When packed the bar can be slow but they do their best to get to everyone and they do. My fiancé and I spend all day here, we stopped for lunch and a few drinks and went back later that night for more drinks and that's when we saw the band. Best night!
