Tosco's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Saugerties

This was horrible. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but I couldn’t. The tenders were tiny, the beef patty tasted like it was cooked that morning and sitting all day, all of the dipping sauces were disgusting, blue cheese, honey mustard, and teriyaki, like I really couldn’t have enjoyed just one of those sauces? The only thing that I semi enjoyed were the mozzarella sticks. Onion rings were way too crunch. I just don’t understand, if this place were black owned or at least had African Americans in the kitchen then it would potentially be top notch. Maybe try hiring and step outside of your comfort zone 😂. No but seriously I will not return. My husband and I own a business in Red hook and by chance stopped while we were driving through Saugerties recently and enjoyed a shrimp scampi pizza that was out of this world! We also had the garlic knots, which were incredible and upon returning for the second time we had the eggplant rollatini , which was also outstanding. Definitely try the cannolis from here. They fresh pipe them and the shell and filling are both high quality. They don’t skimp the filling, that’s for sure!

We also ordered a small (12 in. pie) bbq chicken pizza. That was also very good. The bbq sauce was flavorful, the pizza dough/ crust was soft yet a little crunchy (just how we like it). Will be back whenever we are out in the area! Pizza is enough for 2!
