KC's Pizza and Wings - Hauppauge — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

When Don Marzoni took my wife and daughter hostage, he gave me one chance to save them. “Bring me the finest half tray of baked ziti on Long Island,” he said. “Or they'll be wearing concrete boots at the bottom of the sound.”

I searched from Montauk to Mineola, from diners to delis, but all fell short. Then I found KC’s in Hauppauge.

The ziti was molten gold layered in cheese and marinara. Each bite a prayer answered. I delivered it to the Don. He took one forkful, then another. Silence fell. Then a single tear rolled down his cheek.

“Let his family go,” he said.

Okay where do I start?? Walked in on their first day of opening and absolutely blown away. Was greeted immediately by not one but two employees behind the juice bar! I have been a long time KC’s fan and always loved Holtsville & Islip locations but this one is done over the top! Had freshly squeezed orange juice and the 8oz smash burger from the grill menu! I have never tasted orange juice this fresh and not acidity! And that burger was something to write home about! Spicy mayo is such a great thing for burger! Why didn’t I think of that?!? I stopped by the new KC’s location in Hauppauge and was seriously impressed. The space has a bold, edgy look that gives it a fresh and modern vibe definitely stands out from your typical pizza spot. I tried the grandma vodka slice and it was absolutely incredible crispy crust, amazing vodka sauce, and so flavorful. You can tell they use quality ingredients.
