Terry Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

On my way back from the doctors I stop by this place, and I bought two bagels and cream cheese on the side. After we got home, I spread my bagel with cream cheese and start eating it. Then my wife started spreading her bagel with cream cheese, and found some thing robbery in her spread towards the bottom, we pulled it apart, and it was a cut piece of latex gloves(a whole finger) that I realize when they were preparing my bagel at the store, they had similar gloves on. How nasty was that piece of their gloves a big piece was in the cream cheese spread. I don’t know if it was used or not used, I felt so sick afterwards, and threw the rest of the food away. I will never go to this place again and I hope you don’t either. This is very careless of their par. I come here every week. I order the same thing. Today I walked in to see new people at the register. I asked for two eggs and avocado on a plate. NOT a platter. I was being charged for a platter. I tell the girl it’s not a platter because I don’t want homefries or toast. She argues with me saying “that’s how I was taught to ring it up.” Well, you were taught wrong sweetie, plain and simple. And instead of getting a manager, she just wanted to charge me the wrong price. I had to keep repeating my order. She also doesnt know how to put a good amount of cream cheese on a bagel. I've always been going to this location due to its convenience but now that it's under new ownership this year, not only is it better but you get more for your dollar. The prices now are actually better than they were under previous management. Great combinations for breakfast or lunch, many fresh cream cheeses and bagels/flagles. I highly recommend this location. If you cannot find it, go right past the Walgreens if you are heading north on Terry and turn where it says massage envy because it is easy to miss. If you hit Maureen's, you went too far north.
