Ordered take out which consisted of the Chimichangas's with rice and beans and Nachos. So this is not my first time ordering Nachos from a Mexican restaurant, but WOW $12(+tax) for litterly 8 tortilla chips with beef and cheese is ridiculous I get food costs are up nowadays but this is litterly a snack at best. They tasted fairly well atleast. As for the Chimichanga's themselves they tastes very good, but again lord were they SMAAALL for the $17(+tax) the meal cost. The rice and beans were very bland. U guys need to offer better portion because I feel ripped off..

Wow! The food was amazing! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell the people who work here put love and pride into feeding you a fresh and beautiful meal. The sangria was pefection. You tasted both the wine and fruit - perfectly mixed (and served in a beautiful glass!) For appetizer I had the Tamales, entree, the Carne Tampiquena and dessert bananas flambe. Each item better than the last. Seriously one of the best meals I've had from start to finish. I would give more stars if avaliable.

Fantastic place. Found it after another place nearby quoted us an hour wait. Glad we didn’t! Very cute place, service was amazing. Note there is a two step down to the dining area unsure if they have a wheelchair ramp down. All of the food we tried was fantastic but we all agree that we should have ordered 3 of the chorizos chihuahua it was so tasty. Drinks were affordable and a had good selection. Also a dessert menu and while not pictured the orange sorbet was awesome, we saw someone else get it and had to try.

Been contemplating whether to post this review or not, and after giving it some serious thought I decided it was time the restaurant owners should know how rude service has turned away some very loyal patrons. To say we've been to this restaurant DOZENS of times is an understatement. So much that they even know us by first name but even though the food always seems to be delicious and their margaritas absolutely amazing, the last few times we went the service has been sadly horrible. We had silverware thrown at the table when given menus, we had to ask three times for waiter to come to take our order, and somehow the check is brought quickly, so quick that it was given before we asked to look at desert menu but since we love the place so much and because we are aware that restaurants are struggling a great deal during these times we didn't say anything until a couple of weeks ago when it was just the last straw. We were a party of 3, and were sat right away. We proceeded to order our usual pitcher of margarita, and side table made guacamole. We asked a little time before we ordered our entrees. Everything went great, entrees were ordered and came out in a decent amount of time. Food was great as always. The rest of the party had not yet finished their entrees when the very same waiter (more like bus boy) that coincidentally had thrown silverware on the table one other time before today, came a threw the desert menu which landed on my plate which I was contemplating taking home as leftovers. Once again I laughed it off and told them to take away the plates (forgetting the idea of bringing home any leftovers at this point). We wanted to finish our margaritas before ordering coffee and desert, so we did. We ordered our coffee and a desert that we split. As soon as I was done, I got up and headed to the restroom while the rest settled the account, mind you we are aware that there is a 10pm restaurant curfew (it was 9:40pm). When I get back to the table to grab my jacket , I find that one of our guests was arguing back and forth with the same waiter that had thrown the menu at the table. It appears that said bus boy came to table banging on it and saying in loud voice that we had to leave now. Meanwhile there were 3 other tables with guests still sitting down probably settling their accounts as well. We told him that was no way to ask us to leave especially when it was obvious we were getting ready to leave, not only that but we are (were) long time loyal patrons. Our actual waiter came and appeared at first to try to calm things down and when we told him this was not the first time that individual had given us bad service, he took his side and continued to as us to leave. NO APOLOGY, NOTHING... Needless to say we will not be going back there again. We are very sad because truth be told the food and drinks are great, but the bad service is enough...

After sealing the deal on a new car, the guys at Smithtown Toyota recommended this place for your tequila. Well, they were right. Me and my girlfriend ordered two drinks and they were tasty. As for food, I ordered the veggie enchiladas and she ordered the veggie quesadillas. I took one bite, the red sauce on the enchiladas was it good. I decided to add a little salt, thinking that would help but it didn't. I nibbled at it and ate less then half of it. In the process of sitting at the table, we were helped by 3 different men and a female. At this point we didn't know who our waiter was. A waitress came to our table, took our plates and I explained to her "I wasn't satisfied with this meal at all. I would prefer to not pay for it." She looked at me and didn't say a word. When it was time to pay, our "original" waiter brought us the bill and I explained the issue. His reply was "you ordered the enchiladas. That what I gave you." I explained myself again, and kindly requested to not pay for a meal I didn't eat and I'd like to speak to the manager. He became frustrated and walked away with the bill. I looked around for the waitress I originally complained to. I got her attention as she walked over to a table, she told me to hold on from across the restaurant and never returned. The waiter returned with the bill, doesn't say a word and walks away. We open the bill to see that I was charged $7 instead of $15. He gave me a discount. To make things better, the waiter we stressed the issue with didn't even collect the bill. It was another person. What a mess.

My issue is this. If someone doesn't eat their meal, they shouldn't pay. Thanks for discount I guess, but it's the principle. $7 won't break me. Clearly when issues arise, the customer service skills are out the window. What ever happened to the manager I asked to speak to...? Manager never came. That's ok. We don't...

Disappointing - Went this past Saturday night with my wife and another couple. Based on the excellent reviews here on Google, we expected a nice dinner - instead we received a mediocre meal and a visit from the manager at the end asking us to "free up the table for another party".

Upon our arrival, we had 6:30 reservations, we walked int he door at 6:29 and were promptly seated, we ordered two appetizers - the empanadas and the nachos. The empanadas were excellent, but the nachos were quite literally ten tortilla chips arraigned in a circle around the plate, each with a scoop of meat, with cheese melted over them, and a scoop of sour cream and guacamole in the middle. When I'm paying $10 for an order of nachos, I would have liked a plate of nachos; what we received was a very small portion and not what we were expecting at all.

As for the main course, I had the grande burrito, which was advertised as coming with a side of rice and beans - it didn't. While the burrito was quite large, that was because it will filled with 50% lettuce. The flavor was quite bland as well. While eating it I was thinking how much better a burrito would have been from Taco Bell. At least that you can taste.

To end our night, within 2 minutes of paying the check, a manager (I assume that it was a manager, as it wasn't our server) came to our table asked us to "free up the table for another party". That was the icing on the cake.

Over all, while the atmosphere and wait staff were excellent, the food and the management left quite a bit to be desired. We will not...
