Wendy's — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I went to wendys, ordered 2 biggie bags, a frosty, cinnabon pull aparts and 2 chocolate chip cookies. I specified that the double stacks are plain, only ketchup. When i got to the window, i received 2 double stacks with only cheese. I kindly told her that I asked for the double stacks to be plain only ketchup. She responded with attitude “so you don’t want cheese”.

I said “no, i wanted it plain only ketchup.”

She turned around and spoke to someone in spanish and tapped the side of her head as if to gesture that i’m ignorant or causing some sort of problem. She then proceeded to instruct me to pull up to the door and wait for my order.

When she finally arrived with my food, i asked her if the gesture she made earlier was meant for me, which was met with a temper-filled “what?”

“After i told you my order was wrong you double tapped your head and made it seem like there was some sort of issue, so i wanted to know if that was intended for me”

She responded saying “No, the problem is when you say plain only ketchup, plain to us means only cheese.”

“Well i’m not aware with your terminology so i apologize if the mistake was on me”

She just said “ok” with an attitude. Mistake on me for assuming she got my order correct; i pulled off, remembered to check my order again to find that my double stacks were completely plain, no ketchup and I’m missing a cookie.

I understand everybody has bad days, however, I don’t appreciate being greeted or talked to with such poor etiquette and...

I’ve been here a few times in person being that I went to hauppauge can’t say once the food has ever been good but tonight tops it off I ordered food off of Uber eats and the food got here I got one wrong drink I the receipt on the bag was half right and the not one item in the bag was right except for a large fry that I asked for extra salt the had no salt and the tasted like they where made at 8am and left out all day this place is terrible has absolute terrible management always has and has always had careless teenage employees who don’t care one bit about their job and are just there to get their checks and eat more food then sell and they have been like this for as long as I can remember and I’m sure at least 80 percent of the locals can agree with me

Oh and I would love to add that the last time I was physically in this location in 2021 I would say the bathrooms had bugs and roaches I don’t know if they still do but I really wouldn’t be surprised I’m really shocked that Burger King and McDonalds shut down and I’m really shocked that’s this...

I recently visited Wendy's in Hauppauge and had a great experience. Chris, the attendant, was incredibly friendly and courteous, which made my visit even more enjoyable. While I was working in the area, I decided to stop by for a quick bite, and I'm glad I did.
