I just have to share this experience I had today because the people who work here are so kind. My son is autistic and gets overstimulated when we go into stores so he was touching everything. They just smiled and let me direct him to the register where he started grabbing a banana. The woman who was working the register handed him one sweetly, and then he got upset and said I need two, and started having a fit. I tried to calm him down but it was no use and I was about to just picked him and up and leave but just she handed him another and smiled. I woke up early and asked Google to find an open breakfast spot. Cove Delicatessen was suggested. It was about a 15-minute stroll from downtown in chilly weather. They have self-serve coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. They also have bottled soft drinks and juices.
